No, and if we do then This game is cooked and so is classic +

Token would be an admission of complete and total failure to fix the economy and sign that this team will fail again in the next project

In your opinion, what’s the best way to fix the economy? Because it’s not good WITHOUT the token.

brother, its times to wake up. if you think its not coming, its gonna be a horrible day when it does, for you. cause it is coming. lmao. all versions of the game have the shop in it. and thus all version will at some point have the token. one sub, multiple shops, multiple tokens. they print money whether you like it or not.

Why do people like you exist?

They already did all of this. Multiple times. And wow is still here.

Well if it doesnt Im off. I got about 20k spent on primals, terocones, scrolls and mana thistles that will be sunk to the bottom.

balance tanks for heroics, increase the rate of badge drops by double and then add a supply box to the badge vendor that give relevenat materials. they already proved this works in SoD.

This is a great question. Here are my likely unpopular answers:

  1. Place contested node items on a vendor. Kill the market for bots and also provide a gold sink. Make them expensive. But eliminate the motivation to farm limited resources which are then resold to increase inflation - replace it with a gold sink.
  2. Implement sell able enchantments early - the reduction in spam alone would be worth it.
  3. Add another flying skill level (150%) with a reasonable price (gold sink).
  4. Take some time and start seriously begin live monitoring unattended play. Ban the bots. Frequent and constant bans instead of ban waves.
  5. Absolutely investigate and ban gold purchasers. Blizzard should make people so afraid of RMT that they won’t risk it.
  6. (I’m sure some will really hate this) Sell a vendor token that acts as a personal loot creator. This token/item/potion whatever will create a buff that grants a personal loot from the next boss type mob killed. Make them 500g, make them 1000g, I guarantee this will pull money out the economy, discourage selling SR/HR items, and really make GDKP viable again. So add in this guaranteed loot token and then unban GKDP.

Just a couple of ideas I had. All my opinion. Your mileage may vary.

why do people who want the game to actually have integrity exist? good question bro. Why do people like you exist that would rather have a pay to win token instead of the game being fixed to solve problems the devs created?

For me its my fun. Farm materials, play Ah make gold buy a WOW token for gametime. The token is fine. The IRL money transactions where people run bot farms and create gold thats what destroys the economy. And what we see from the Epstien files (I didnt want to bring those up) There seens to be a connection between the old CEO, Steve Bannon and Epstien. Bannon if you dont know used to own a company trhat sold WOW and other in game gold.

because of path of least resistance exists. if the devs actively ignore and choose not to fix the game, at least a token can suffice the amount of time a player chooses to play in their versions of the game. game hasn’t had integrity since OG tbc btw. people been P2W since their teen years. and in modern gaming MTX is the norm. these are just the facts.

if you dont like farming gold to buy game time to play for free, thats fine.

if you dont like having a job to pay for gold not from a 3rd party, thats also fine.

but players will always choose the path of least resistance.

fun fact its almost like a large company has multiple teams working for them at once. like how there is a team for balancing and there is team for monetization aka shop items…..

It has nothing to do with integrity. It’s you being chicken little saying the skybox is falling.

They’ve added the wow token TWICE and yet here we all are. To think microtransactions will kill a game when it’s literally the reason video games are the number one media giant across the world is silly.

I find it difficult to believe that you think the game has any integrity in it’s current state, I don’t see how it could have any less integrity with the prolific bots and RMT’ers.

I’m guessing you’re pining for the days of old when Blizzard actually fought against gold buyers/bots/hackers. You have better chances of getting struck by lightning than of those times coming back again.

They already proved recently in SoD that they have fixes for these exact problems to bring prices down and make things accessible for players. The fact they aren’t able to carry that lesson forward though, on top of the fact they made a bunch of the same mistakes from last TBC is just such a poor showing and a red flag for classic +

Can you imagine the cope from the antis once it actually drops BEFORE the “gdkp classic”, as the “non gdkp” classic?

It’s going to be a field day of cope farming
