I had to wait until someone responded.

I just tried testing both. It is still largely inconsistent.
Both shortlink and standard url break.
I don’t know why the shortlink worked there.

It sounds like they created the bug when they made it easier to view your trust level.

According to the new forum guide in the sticky, it’s a trust lvl 1 permission actually… At 2 i’m normally able to post youtube videos.

Its weird since it worked with the shortlink earlier but doesn’t work now.

This. I hate it. deeply. so deeply.

I hate that it promote people making unnecessary posts just to maintain their L.3 standing. Once you have L.3 you shouldn’t lose it unless you are banned/flagged.

Then again, the levels are also yet another disgusting elite system.

Yeah, I have no idea. Sometimes the short links you can “auto-copy” expire so I was wondering if maybe that was it. But certainly it’s something else they need to dig into. I doubt we’ll ever see it resolved. 80% of the forums are desolate and abandoned with little moderation.

The worst part is that the offcial forums are generally the first thing new players turn to, and if they can’t use it because of this arbitrary elite system the they go elsewhere. Its pretty bad when no one wants to use the official forum platform, it makes the game as a whole less appealing.

Wipe the cookies from the blizzard forums and it will be fixed.

I agree. Especially when it comes to Class Forums. They are mostly abandoned with many new players creating threads that go unanswered because no one posts there. There are a few good ones with really good players giving advice (Warriors come to mind) but yeah…

Believe it or not I have better advice and discourse on the PvP and Gold Making subreddits than here most of the time.

EDIT: Whatever happened to stickies? Guides created by players stickied to the top of the Class page? Those still a thing?

Yeah, I dont intend to actually stay this character, I’ll switch back if it starts working again. Not that I can ever be TL3 again, though.
