Are we getting flying on March 12?

I remember them saying it would be “similar”. Not “we are going to follow it exactly the same and not deviate it at all in any way whatsoever”.

Doesn’t sound like a lie to me.

The reps did not take me 2 weeks. More like 2.5 weeks. BFA launched on Aug 14. On Sept 1st I achieved Azerothian Diplomat to complete Pathfinder Part 1.

I don’t recall them using the word “similar” at all. I clearly remember them saying “the same”.

So here you are fabricating for them. But of course.

It doesn’t matter how long you claim it took you to magically finish those reps. Did it get you flight at 2 weeks into the expansion? ROTFLMAO.

Operant conditioning at work.

Ok. I would please like to see your source to back up your claim. I would be more than happy to change my stance if the facts are provided.

I never said I got flight 2 weeks into the expansion, if it did not matter how long it took me to “magically” finish those reps, then why did you make such a big deal out of it?

No it doesn’t. You are just saying that because YOU think that way. You have zero objective data that will prove this assertion.

Oh it’s August already? Why didn’t I get the memo?

Of course not, they only give flying to a zone when it’s nearly outdated.

Ppl wondering when we get flight i’m just hoping we get the new Models for Worgen and Goblins soon. Though I hope those who are looking forward to flight and allied races get them soon and enjoy them!

If the people paying their salary weren’t happy, then…they wouldn’t be paying their salary.

If WPVP was so important to that many people, and flying is a detriment to that, you’d think they wouldn’t fly in order to play what they see as an important aspect of the game, the way they think it’s best played. But no, as soon as flight is unlocked, they’ll take to the skies like everyone and abandon WPVP. Kinda seems like WPVP isn’t all that important. At least not as important as flying.

Bad reasoning there. It’s your opponent’s flying that’s a detriment, not your own, and you can’t force your opponent to avoid flying even if you don’t fly yourself.

There are plenty of ways to force someone to avoid flying. And seeing anti-flyers love to say that flying killed WPVP ( it didn’t) I’m speaking in the general sense, and not in the specific sense you’re talking about.

I agree it doesn’t kill world PVP. It’s just that world PVP is in such a good place right now, I’d prefer not to see it disturbed.

Okay, and I’d rather fly than be grounded for a small portion of gameplay I don’t partake in. I mean, they could go ahead and make warmode ground only, but I’m sure a lot of people will turn it off to fly anyways.

They could come up with ways to dissuade flying in warmode without having to disable flying for everyone else.

A: Flying with warmode turns off the bonus for 5-10 minutes.

B: Flying with warmode automatically flags you as a bounty.

C: Put in a warning when turning on warmode that it will disable flying entirely.

Stop acting like Blizzard can’t do anything other than turning on flight.

hit num lock. :hugs:

I mean, of course they’re going to do that. They’ve done it for the last couple of expansions, it’s not going to change. Annoying? Yep. Stupid? You betcha. Still doesn’t mean that the new quest area released in 8.2 will allow flying.

I’m not going to get all angry and dramatic about it. But lately I’ve had to really struggle to find reasons to log in at all after nine years of a continuous subscription. Now if that’s due to WoW getting old for me after so long, or because of BfA, or something else, or a combination of them all, it’s hard to say.

It’s still aumtumn in Cali.

Technically it is winter here. Almost spring. Alternatively, it is Flood/Mudslide season which proceeds Fire season.

It was a joke.
