They don’t look undead.
Your friend likely thinks they’re undead because there is a black space where the nose should be. The reason for this is because the noses change 3d shape on different faces so the skin color texture for the noses is attached to the 3d framework of the nose itself, not the overall body skin texture. This is a regular Zandalari skin texture, not undead.
