Are there any classes that feel good to play?

I also vote hunter, I’m playing to chill and my brain is usually fried when I’m playing sooo I need something stupid easy, therefore: Hunter

(But I’ve had a lot of fun playing DK too)

Fun and bad are not always the same thing. Some players like good, they like big numbers, but their class doesn’t do that, and they love their class, so they complain.

If you don’t care about numbers just pick anything you are happy to play and feels good to you.

I love my pally tank. Rounding up a bunch of enemies and then taking them out is lots of fun. And even when you accidently agro some extras, it’s like, “Oh. You want some too hey?” And then you drag them over and wipe everything out. Almost feel like a god.

These posts no offense to people are worthless. Yes you get feedback from other players which is helpful in a way,

But only the player will know if they like the class or not. Is the class trial still a thing? Do that. But sorry never ask what is the best class cause you will never get a straight answer.

Play them yourself

Most of the times these are LFR players, don’t listen to these players on the forum. Many times it’s a learn to play issue.

Hello WoWaholics,

I have played since Beta Vanilla. My advice to all players is to ignore Blizzard and their constant up and down and back and forth. They will forever screw up the game in little ways then try and fix it. Take the Ret Pally for example over the last year. They were bottom and then OP. Blizzard doesn’t really understand MMORPGs to be honest.

What you should do is pick a class and spec you enjoy. If you can enjoy two specs on a class then that’s what you should play. For me I had all classes maxed out back when I played hardcore. Because I wanted to be the best. But it always sucked when you get into an alt to raid because your main was nerfed or something or the party needed your other toon. Then that one item you always wanted for your main drops. It always happens. So that constant disappointment made it so I stopped playing for two expansion all together.

But then I picked a class that had two specs I enjoyed. For me that’s a Druid. I have always Tanked since the beginning and love being the tank. Bear tank isn’t super complex and it’s fun to be able to battle rez, heal, stealth, fly come out of flying mode drop hundred of feet and pop back into flight mode. Then I also am really good at healing and I enjoy the ability to run around and heal. No sitting in one spot to heal just run around battle grounds poppin heals and instances healing and dosing. Druid has two game styles I enjoy. Are their better specs out their sure. But I very much like to be able to stealth around and skip useless things. I love flying in bird form then dropping for a minute or two then instantly going back to bird form. I love being able to breathe underwater. The lore is why I play the druid. Not because it’s min max.

Blizzard will continue to screw up the game and screw up your classes and specs. You have to play because you enjoy you class lore. And make sure you can at least enjoy two specs on your class. Because for example Warlock if you only enjoy Demon then when they make demon suck again because they did some stupid thing then you need to be able to switch to one of the other specs and have fun playing still.

I personally think they need to stop every expansion making us level 10 levels. Just cap the levels. Then make gear be the thing that matters and the ability to get permanent stat buff scrolls for completing things like a zones entire quest chain. Nothing huge like you have say 100 strength and the scroll boosts your strength to 110 or something small. But if you go around and complete every single zones quests and complete various epic level things you may have say strength of 300 while a new player even with amazing gear will have strength of 150. So your still stronger because you have the experience and you out in the time to complete all the epic things.

They should also make it so all raids drop worth while gear. It maybe not super epic gear but it would still be worth getting if you wanted. Take the level gear most are getting now around 400. Do a raid in say molten core you can get 425 gear or whatever. Now current epic raids maybe your getting 450 gear. I know the numbers aren’t correct. This is hypothetical. But while completing old raids you get once drop scrolls that may add 5 str permanently to your stats or hp or whatever. Those who already did these tasks would get scrolls in the mail.

Also another feature that’s long over due. Guild housing / shops. You should be able to log your character out in a guild shop and your character will craft anything people ask for. You set prices and material prices. But when you log back in your crafting may have gone up a few points and you gained gold. Your guild also gained gold as well. This would allow for a free market. People can compete at an entirely new level of trade. Some guilds may enjoy gathering materials so they offer materials at a low price. You buy those materials then go to a guild that has your special item you have always wanted.

Yes I know they have a failed system they tried to do this with. The crafting tables and orders. But they failed miserable at implementing it. On my server when I get the quest to complete 10 orders I have to log into my alt and request orders that way. They didn’t force people to use the system and now it’s just a joke that crafters are forced to use. Just make it so a guild can buy a shop and guild members can log their main in the shop and the main crafts orders while logged off. Would not be hard and good crafters would start to be known and recognized like back in vanilla.

Actually every class are good for Pve content just need to play it correctly

prot paladin

Play arcane mage.

Very fun and very rewarding for the complicated playstyle. LOVE it. Or.play BM hunter, thats pretty wicked and easy

Whether you find a class fun or not is totally subjective, so kind of have to decide for yourself. Personally, still struggling to find even one spec I actually enjoy right now, but others have multiple ones they enjoy. Go try a few out.

Depends on what you enjoy about the class.

Are you seeking a theme? A fantasy? A gamestyle?

Also it depends on your personal playstyle enjoyment as well, as different playstyles is suited for different ppl.

The fact that it’s every single one must be telling you something right? Always check your references.

I am gonna get flamed for this, but truth be told I don’t think any of the classes currently feel good to play, there is always something that bothers me to no end until I reroll. I don’t know, the post Legion class design doesn’t feel like there’s a lot of soul to it, they keep falling into the same pattern of CD stacking or bursty builder/spender.

I tried playing a warrior but the constant yelling and screaming was too much…no way to turn that off i guess

Warriors are the most fun, any spec, it doesn’t really matter, just put a helmet on, get in there and hurt something for Christ’s sake, it’ll be fun. :smiling_imp:

Semper Fi! :us: :ukraine:

Oof. Those are like my least favorite spec/classes right now. Mage is all right, but I gave up trying to pvp on mine. Rogue is getting some buffs on Tuesday, so maybe that’ll fix some issues.

I’ve tinkered with all the classes this xpac. I have 5 of them at 70 so far, plan to get them all to 70 (I’m slow), but I think hunter is the class I’ve had the most fun with in DF. Boomie feels slow and clunky this iteration. Ret paladin is a lot of fun. I just finished maxing one yesterday. Arms warrior kept me entertained for a while.

I’m debating on the next class to level. Can’t decide on warlock or shaman.
