So, Qadarin shared the burden of the Night Warrior with Thiernax which in the end killed them both, which got me wondering, the elves in Darkshore + Player character if Night Elf(Considering of course they took the Night Warrior customization for cosmetic purposes), do they share the burden with Tyrande, lorewise? Were they empowered at all or they simply got sideline “radiation” effect from the ritual that turned their eyes black without the bad nor good of the Night Warrior effects?
Qidarian died because he tried to split Elunes’ power with his husband, and it was simply too much for the both of them to handle.
As far as the army of the black moon? I think it’s mostly minor side affects of witnessing the ritual. They don’t actually have any of elunes power. Just a bit more overly aggressive it seems
They probably just got a tiny portion or a bit of the essence.
Qadarim and the other dude tried to split the full power between the 2.
I see, I see, makes sense, got me confused for a while there, I appreciate the replies!
Anytime friend Hugs Enjoy the holidays!
Likewise, my friend!
Bold of you to assume anything negative will happen to Tyrande in a permanent way.

Nothing positive happened, so I suppose it’s balanced .
She dumpstered Nathanos.

She could do that anyway, so nothing changed.
It seems quite obvious that this is Tyrande’s last expansion one way or another
Beats following yet another human around again. People like Tyrande honestly need more screen time.
So what you’re saying is that the game needed a pre-NW fight where Nathanos dumpsters Tyrande first to show the threat level needed for her to use it.
If you want to ignore previous lore and go with whatever balances the equation, that might seem right.
Where are all of these Night Elf NPCs that have darkened eyes? Are they significant, named characters? Did they persist outside of the Night Warrior ritual scenario?
I suspect the inclusion of NPCs with darkened eyes is merely Blizzard’s way of opening up the cosmetic effect for Night Elf players and doesn’t have any bearing on lore.
Atleast some of them are. One example is Myara Nightsong, the warrior trainer and another is Moon Priestess Lasara, the quartermaster.
But there are other more significant ones like Cordressa Briarbow, who was involved in Before the Storm and Elegy, and was a common quest giver.
night elves will get away dirt free, they could kill 90% of the horde and blizzard would call it justice.
Though, Shandris and Maiev all saw the ritual and didn’t change (I assume maiev didn’t at least).
Which has its own branching series of implications.
Kinda interesting don’t you think? They made a huge deal with this ritual only for 1 expansion later embark the player in a quest to nerf Tyrande…
Basically they gave the middle finger to everyone and made this “arc” just anime filler
If you say so…
