Are Stellagosa and Arcanist Valtrois a couple?

Are they?

Valtrois even refers to Stellagosa as “darling”

Yes, if you played through Legion, through the Azuna zone, that’s where they first met.

Both have a love of magic and each other.

Valtrois lost Suramar (briefly), and Stella lost her grandfather Senegos (as of DF). And they’re both powerful mages, so they had common ground.

Honestly, I am a fan of interspecies relationships. Feels more realistic in a fantasy game.

I’m mixed IRL, so one could argue I’m the result of one of these myself lol.

I’ve been waiting to play a Mok’nathal since, forever.

Oh I must have missed that. I don’t recall them ever meeting.

I just caught their conversation in tanaris and it made me wonder

Stella’s story starts in Azurewing Repose, and then later on in the Suramar story, they end up crossing paths and that’s where things get started lol.

Ye they geeked out about magic in Legion and were obviously in a giddy flirty mood about it

Now when are they gonna make Meerah and Savor into a couple? Lol

They are roommates and they are also really really good friends. They even adopted cats together.

Gotta love Meerah’s plucky attitude. Since with that jaw I don’t think she’ll ever see Savor smile unless he draws it on.

That reminds me of some weird rp that use to be common on wyrmrest. In taverns, there use to be female undead rp. They were… exotic dancers. They were far too descriptive, using words like bile and goo. first time you see it you are like “What the actual f…” and then it keeps happening, so you watch with a smile on your face as new people discover them, with the same reaction they had. As far as I know, they were chased off the server because they kept killing rp. lol.

Edit: sloshing was also a word.

You could say they’re…magical together?

They probably are, but there are people who use “darling” to talk to others and aren’t romantically involved or even interested in the other person.

We had the same thought. lol.

They’ve been my favorite fan-ship since Legion so this made me incalculably happy.

I don’t remember a relationship between them. I know they met. But aside from that, I don’t recall them being involved back then.

It was a flirty kind of relationship back in Legion, them bonding over the leylines or something like that.

Naturally there’s been a time skip or two since that was before SL, DF, and TWW.

So, it’s probably a full-send relationship by now.

Reading their lines from the anniversary, it seems like they’re still dancing around it a little.

The implication that they’re going there is very overt now, though.

We do briefly kinda see them in DF with the magical teleportation system in Waking Shore, though with as fast as Dragonriding was I can see why nobody actually did that quest chain.

So legion= meetiing, add the BFA time + 5 years for SL, DF, then TWW. If anything, they seem to be taking their time with it as they’ve had 7 something years in-universe to really develop a connection.

Oh they definitely bickered, that was kinda the start of their relationship lol.

Valtriois is like “You’re wrong it goes like this” and Stella’s like “Gurl, I’m a blue dragon, I can sense leylines” and it goes off from there.

ehhh… that’s also a thing people say. Was it Eva Gabor? It was just her mannerism, she called everyone “dahhhling.”

It feels like Blizzard is playing the “wink-nudge” game, where if they come right out and make them an official couple, there’s all this hphobic pushback and tiki torch posts about how “we don’t need that in WoW”, etc.

But if they just do everything but make them an official couple … well, we all know what’s up.

I know one thing, when I click on either one to take a quest or turn one in, it doesn’t matter to me. lol I got my 150 Artisan’s Mettle every week in DF whether that couple was gay or not. lol
