Extra dodge, extra crit, especially if you are playing a lethality build, is bad. Never losing a sap fight. The extra level stealth level who cares? Hahahaah. Disinformation and opinion.

Yes, they are viable. Not the top dps in the game, but they’re very strong in pve. Combat is generally considered to be the best spec for both leveling and raiding, though there are different talents you’ll take for either situation. Shadowpanther(dot)net is a good resource for that. Best race for pve is probably human for alliance and orc for horde. The other races aren’t super far behind in terms of dps, it’s just that those two races have some small advantages due to racial abilities. Honestly, I think the difference is small enough for you to play whatever you like, but if you want to min/max then human or orc is the way to go. Only the most anal of raid leaders is going to care about which race you picked unless you’re a priest.

dont be that guy who mindlessly follows the meta, rogues are viable in all specs.

I recommend going Dagger Combat Spec,
this way you can defend yourself in pvp and still get insane aoe with BF and adr on

the only reason why rogue isnt top dps right now is because the end game gear is so bad.

later on in t2.5 and t3 the only class that can rival a fury warrior in dps is a rogue

Rogues are trash, they bring no raid utility and underperform dps against fury warriors

Rogues are just for people who will do alot of solo content by themselves

Rogues are top tier damage OP, and pretty much the best class in PvP. Level 1-20 is a little rocky but it’s smooth sailing from then on. The only class / talent combo you are going to have trouble with is a Bear Druid or Holy Paladin, because it will take you too long to kill them and they will likely call for help. WSG is especially good for Rogues because they are amazing at ganking the EFC. I used to play on EU with our server’s GM on flag defence, we didn’t even need any other defenders I got the EFC almost every single time :slight_smile: The build I used was hemo swords, in case you were interested.

i play both both games and dont bother switching to classic characters when i post here. its funny hearing from the retail haters like you

if you think rogues are bad in wsg you discredit anything else you say too. no one else can stun lock the FC and apply crippling and wound poison as well as a rogue.
