In classic it was BM if you didn’t let the rogue get an opener in a duel.
Is that still true in SOD? I’ve seen plenty of hunters standing on traps/flares and paladins standing in cons.
I mean its the right thing to do? A rogues power relies on the opener, but a good rogue will win regardless.

i think since they have a gap closer that the old rules dont apply anymore, its all fair game.
