I have several zone-specific quest achievements that are not tracking between characters. Aren’t these supposed to be account-wide?
For example, I completed all 48 quests for Dustwallow Marsh on one character, but it doesn’t show as completed on the others. Completed Burning Steppes on the other, doesn’t reflect on other two.
Any help with this? Known bug? Kinda defeats the purpose of worrying about achievements, imo as I can’t go back and do it all again on each character.
Quite a few achievements are “per character” and still give achievement points to your account overall. You can do the same thing multiple times across different characters but you will not get the points after the first time earning it.
When you say it’s not tracking do you mean for Loremaster?
An example would be Hemet Nesingwary’s achievement, it’s account wide after all 3 quests on 1 character, but does not count when 3 characters have one of each. I would suspect it works in a similar way but I also doubt it due to having to do Feralas twice thanks to the quest skip phasing problem. Feralas was done on an alt, and the achievement says earned by main when hovering over it (even though that character did not).
There are some just that didn’t seem to track for me either on alts, but I would say that’s probably due to some lame coding where you need a prerequisite before it really tracks. Is it that you can’t grey them out that bothers you? Remember you won’t get the points.

The thing is that some of these questing achievements carry over, and some do not. A lot of them show as “Completed by XYZ”, but then I just earned the ones mentioned above and now they don’t show on other characters.
And yeah, the achievement completionist part of the game is a big draw for me, but if it just straight up doesn’t work then I guess I’m not interested.
