i would like that and wouldn’t be upset if lfr was taken away for that. assuming it had the same low level rewards. also with what i said earlier about nerfing WQ and buffing crafting i think it would be an overall win for casuals. like i said i don’t expect heroic, or heck even NORMAL, raid gear for doing what i do. if i wanted to get much better gear i’d have to get much better at the game. i don’t think they realize they’d taken all sense of progression from us. at least if lfr/this individual stuff was our “endgame” as casuals we would see normal raiding as the next step up if we wanted better gear. instead of feeling it’s worthless to raid because you can get nearly heroic level gear from WQ.
I would have loved to have a guild like that in BC, but sadly was not so lucky. Not everyone’s going to be that fortunate.
You don’t speak for everyone. I use those tools to try to get better, because I recently went back to warlock after many years and am not fully adept in this class yet. In BC and Wrath there’d be no way for me to practice and would have to rely on the good graces of others to help me with that, which wouldn’t always happen.
Not something that can teach you everything you need to know about being a warlock.
Then you’ve got things like Icy Veins which apparently the warlock Discord will tell you is totally wrong and would give you a set of totally contradictory and arbitrary stats and guides that just end up making everything super confusing.
you don’t learn anything from lfr either though. even NORMAL barely has any mechanics. if you want to learn to raid higher difficulties you should start at the bottom (pugging normals) and make your way to the top.
also from this point on keep every single thing you get don’t scrap it. then use mr robot to optimize. you’ll have to change your gear around a lot though.
