They’re both short, quirky and get an unreasonable amount of hate

I’d say Lalafell have more in common with Goblins, though.

At least the Ul’dahn ones at any rate.

Both are too over the top cutesy. Part of why I hate Vulpera. Neopets is that way -->> if you’re really looking for something ADOWABLE!! Or Gaia, even.

It isn’t self explanatory if you don’t define the term. Not trying to be rude, just saying.

It could be a male thing, but, probably because adults running around as children can be really disgusting. Especially when you see adult males running around as female gnomes in skimpy mogs. Yeah, I think disgusting sums it up, pretty well.

Which one is worse? Well, probably the lalafell. The image of an innocent, vulnerable sister or very young girl/boy, can be sexualized in Japan. This certainly isn’t something that successfully crosses cultural boundaries. It’s at least mildly abhorrent in most western cultures.

Or, maybe the Gnome is inherently worse, because its image can be contorted in perverse ways, and is given Blizzards tacit approval.

geez, reading a whole lot into my and other peeps’ motivations. I like gnomes and lalafells cuz they’re cute. I don’t ERP with them.

Lalafell look like gnomes but I’d say the Lalas of WoW are Goblins.

Society-wise, Lalas are basically Goblins. Just…horrible little merchant tyrants.

I feel kinda mixed. They do both get hate. I think Gnomes are awesome.

I don’t think Lalafells quite match up to how highly I think of gnomes. I was a Mechagnome for the better part of my Monk career but I find myself using Shadowmeld as an ability of convenience more often so I switched.
