Anyone who has ever worked with any form of customer support knows how they work, it’s not rocket science, its a numbers game, most of the issues they get are identical so agents copy/paste blurbs to send out, and it likely wouldn’t be uncommon for some agents to have some that are simply outdated.
It also doesn’t take much to figure out any 10 year old can make a photoshop image with free tools on the internet. I mean there is a reason, the only thing Blizzard will look at is data from their own servers.
If you think so… lots of people running GDKP’s right now on Anniversary. Not to mention according to Blizzard and their definition of GDKP its going on ever second of the day with people selling loot out of tribute HOJ and may more!
Well its kind of one of those laws they just dont seem to care about… Kinda like going 61mph in a 60mph. Sure a cop can pull you over because its illegal, but odds are they dont care
Well yeah they’re not even banned there. And ironically you hear virtually nothing about GDKPs. I’m looking at the Services channel on the Mankrik cluster right now and not a peep.
It really seems to be tied to the type of players involved. The toxic sweatlords have almost entirely moved to Anniversary. Era is a paradise right now.
Same but he does have a point and it would be kind of interesting to see if they would ever get to a point where they would actually say or do something. Especially if it started happening in mass. Like they should have actioned the chronoboon stuff but they didn’t they shrugged it off and did a I guess let’s just let them have 1g boons.
Maybe they are doing something. Maybe players are getting banned over it. What do I know?
Someone on the forums saying, “People are still doing GDKPs” means nothing. People lie.
We for sure know people are selling dungeon items and have been since the start. We have not been inundated with complaints about being banned for that. But that is a minor digression from my point. I am not saying people are or are not running GDKP. I am saying it would be interesting to see what blizzard would do if people started doing it as blatantly obvious as say selling tribute or at the rate of era. Would they action all those people or would they just cave?
There are discords that presell gear and then split the gold at the end of the run. How is this any different than a gdkp? It’s not they just don’t bid with gold but the end result is the same. Blizzard doesn’t care about rmt, they just trick us into thinking they do under the guise of “community”.
