I’m a woman and don’t really care myself. More armor options in general are A-OK with me though. But I mog my toons to not show much, just cause that’s how I mog. Some like the mogs that show more. Nothing wrong either way, in my opinion.
They haven’t added a single piece of skimpy armor since Legion, and even then it was only like 2 sets.
Actually they added several in BfA. Of course it was all Troll themed, so I understand if that’s not your cup of tea. Also, it’s not the leather sets, because the art team apparently cannot fathom the idea of skimpy leather. This despite leather being a primary material for fetishwear.

Void elf heritage armor is kinda skimpy.
Compound 2P has all kinds of references to Mother Grotesquerie. The way that the little blank android stands up after the ball falls apart gave that impression. Most people assumed when they saw that ball they were getting the Adam & Eve fight.
The entire YoRHa experience has been a mind!@#$. That’s how you know Yoko Taro DEFINITELY had the lion’s share of input.
He luckily was told ABSOLUTELY NOT when he toyed with the idea of a choice erasing character data, though.
Either that or he has fans in the FF team, after all, the main reason Automata is what it is is because someone in SQ loves him, otherwise he would have disappeared with the first Nier.

Im a guy an i 100% i hate seeing breast pop out through metal plate.
I really do not mind skimpy armor, I find it to be quite empowering long as its not a bikini thigh high stockings and long sleeved shirt that exposes underboob.
Because the OG creators where men from a different generation. The paradigm is shifting and we will come full circle in due time.

I don’t mind a toggle for both Male and Female (or non skimpy to skimp) versions of the armor. The only reason they wouldn’t is because some of the male/female armor wouldn’t look good because of UV stuff and etc.
Telling you to play a male character’s is creepy? How? 
I am not afraid of bosoms. Its just insulting, thats not how plates work even in a fictious game. if its cloth or leather i dont mind the tatas showing. So why are you projecting onto me that i fear the female anatomy?

Suffice it to say, I’d just ignore it. Be thankful you’re not playing a game like TERA that has true sex appeal just for the men to play their game.
