Are any Druids NOT going Kyrian?

I’m probably going Kyrian. I like to play all roles and Kindred Spirits looks good for everything. I like that you can cast it on yourself too, when playing solo.

The Steward is just another nice QoL and QoL is why I play a Druid in the first place

As a guardian I do like the idea of Kindred Spirits for a 40% damage redirection every minute on top of the 20% from protector of the pack in a pvp scenario.

It it stacks and goes through as written out right now that could be quite broken.

Currently you can cast anything to keep your stacks going. Even defensive or utility spells.

Yeah but I’m worried about core rotation with 2+ second spellcasts.

I tested this, you are not considered idle while casting. The idle timer is “paused” during casting and also while you are in CC. Pretty much as long as you are pressing any druid button, you are good. Even shapeshifting counts

I’m thinking of taking the expansion off. It doesn’t sound remotely fun for a casual like me. It’s going to be all about min-maxing. Guardian won’t be fixed for a couple more expansions. PvP will be even worse than in BfA.

Druids got Rage of the Sleeper? You mean everything added on to Berserk?

Good, good.

And wow, this forum actually checks to see if you’ve made complete sentences?

Wow.

As a druid, I have to go with the Fae. As a Night Elf, I have to go with the Fae.

It was never in doubt.

I’m fairly certain night fae, at least for Resto, is the best covenant.

If you only play Resto, yes.

That’s not true at all, pretty sure Boom wants it as well, Guardian is a toss-up.

I’m going Nightfae. I told my RL that I was going Nightfae regardless of how good/bad it is, and I will roll a fotm (which made him very happy since I’m a Feral main) if my choice ends up unplayable.

Tl;dr I’m playing Lock for progression, but I’m still going to enjoy every second of being a Nightfae Druid.

Got some bad new for ya if your worried about how feral is looking right now. Make an affliction lock, somehow they get buffed every beta build. Here is the link for as of 2 days ago https: //www.icy-veins. com/wow/dps-rankings-tier-list

As is the case every Beta. First raid tier means almost nothing, as Blizzard is still in their own Beta during this time. They won’t even have covenant balance finalized until after first tier.

That tier list is based at 75th percentile also, which for Feral, could be as much as a 30% dps loss lol. It should be no secret to anyone at this point that things like DK start at god tier melee while things like Feral and SV scale better with gear later in the expansion.

You are forgetting the recent nerf to secondary stats. The have made it harder for funnel classes like feral to stack ridiculous amounts of crits/vers in order to do damage. While you still dont want haste as feral you are still going to be getting a 20% at least nerf to crit towards the later parts of the expansion due to how useless haste is and how valuable crit is.

In Shadowlands , the devs appear to have added diminishing returns to how much of a secondary stat you get for your rating. The DR is based not on the rating itself, but instead it’s based on your current percentage in that secondary stat — so using the above example, if you had 200 Haste Rating and hit 20% Haste, there would be no penalty. But once you hit 25% Haste, it would cost you an extra 10% rating to go up.

  • From 0 to 25% , there’s no penalty .

  • From 25% to 34% , there’s a 10% penalty .

  • From 34% to 42% , there’s a 20% penalty .

  • From 42% to 49% , there’s a 30% penalty .

  • From 49% to 106% , there’s a 40% penalty .

There is a good sized article over it at blizzardwatch, just google “Secondary stat scaling shadowlands” and you should be able to get it as the top result

I am Feral and think I will roll with the Venthyr Covenant, and specifically Nadjia the Mistblade (the “self-proclaimed greatest duelist to ever wield a blade”).

This is very concerning actually. Not just for feral but other classes that literally rely on one huge secondary stat for dps or healing.

Remember when I said Kyrian would be the strongest covenant in PvE? Well, it is, for every spec. Told ya :stuck_out_tongue:

I have no idea what to go on my bear. I will probably end up just doing Night Fae.
