Raid logging is a result of this being TBC. It is an inherently raid-loggy expansion because the initial farm for crafted pieces and pre-raid bis is long over.

I’m well known in my guild for never having any gold, and I manage just fine respeccing a couple of times a week - at least.

I’m open to the option of reduced respec costs but I’m not convinced it is at all necessary. It’s more a peace offering. But given how selfish people are being and the and dirty tricks they’ve routinely deployed on the forum my support for a compromise option is waning … fast.

How about we…add nothing and deal with it the way it is because it’s not broken, is completely trivial to respec anyway, and doesn’t hurt the game in any conceivable way to just not add it.

K, it’s not trivial, and it restricts thousands of players from doing certain content they otherwise would be doing, but don’t want to grind an hour to cover the cost. Meaning often times they simply log off.

Yes, that’s literally the system as it’s designed working as intended, exactly the way it worked in real TBC, that this is intending to mimic.

Also it’s just an indication that you’re lazy. I know plenty of people who respec on the regular, because it’s not hard to do so.

I think this is a contention I really don’t accept. The idea that changes should be made to Classic TBC in order to make it more accessible to casuals than it originally was. No. There is no basis for doing this. It breaks the whole notion of a game staying faithful to the original to make it TBC lite.

If this is the reason to add dual spec - it’s not a sufficient reason.
