If your team has good awareness, you can easily spell steal a divine favor off an hpal and kick them and burst them down in 6 seconds and kill them without bubble. Shears not quite long enough.

Wind Shear can lock out an Arcane Mage every 12 seconds for 6 seconds, on top of Grounding Totem - it’s pretty unbeatable IMO

You entirely missed their point here.

Shear feels like 80% a defensive/distruption tool where as CS will kick open a kill window.

You have to be so far ahead with burst already primed for a wind shear to kill a Spriest locked out of dispersion for example but with CS it can be a death sentence.

[Wind Shear] is already a stronger version of [Counterspell].

Just short sighted imo, the fact you can CS without even facing the target you’re interrupting a massive boon over shear.

Aside from that yea Arcane could use some love, a strong niche to bring it over the other specs with reliable damage.

Blizzard tends to just turn the damage knob tho

blizzard doesn’t read arena forums but i’ll bump anyways. BM hunters complained enough to become op so why cant we?

arcane needs changes or buffs or both. the spec in its current state feels unfinished
