There is just no ebb and flow to it now with the random procs flying off
My dislike here is that we can still consume Nether Precision procs with our ABarr, but now we are relying on the Nether precision proc to be consumed by Arcane Blast in order to proc a full Aethervision. This means when we get procs from our set bonus (Intuition) or hero talent (Glorious Incandescence), but we have nether precision up, we lose our flow if we choose to use the proc (since using up nether precision procs means you won’t get a full Aethervision).
Not sure if it’s better to hold off casting the proc and consume full aethervision + proc with one ABarr, or use it early as soon as we get a set bonus or hero talent empowered ABarr.
Went from a fun and intuitive gameplay to this…
Fun sure, but definitely not intuitive. It’s main gain was through what was essentially a bug. Let the fotm rollers go elsewhere.
Honestly, I’m not a big fan of Spellslinger for raiding since it has such a crazy variance due to orb RNG, but by far the worst thing about the changes were the replacement of the double dipping with Aethervision.
