As of today’s Bellular video and the 12.05 dps charts he showed, arcane isn’t just last, it’s leagues behind. Where’s the “we’ll do better” post about that?

Unholy had to get hit by a game breaking bug to drop down to the level of Arcane and it got immediately addressed. Meanwhile, we’ve been doing that level of damage since the expansion launched, hell even in the pre-patch, and they haven’t even acknowledged it because in our case it’s not due to a bug but because of their sheer incompetence and horrible design choices so they can’t bring themselves to admit it.
At least in pvp the one shots are there but anything ranged is a huge struggle to fight cause Arcane is also one of the weakest specs defensively 
Any updates, future patch notes reveal nothing.
Haven’t checked but at this point I have next to no faith in Blizzard’s ability or willingness to do anything. Even a half-assed “we’re bumping all arcane damage ‘x’ percent” buff would take next to no time and they’re still ignoring it.

Yup, and the only reason I am playing Arcane is just to spite them at this point. 
But for real though, I’ve been playing Arcane going on 22 years, I’ve never been one to chain myself to the meta and I certainly won’t start now. That said, even I am not immune to the struggles of playing a broken spec and it’s why I haven’t been playing much at all lately.

Then I would appreciate if they would man up and say it. At least something like “we’re completely redoing arcane for patch ‘x.y’ so either suck it up until then or don’t play it.”
But why do that when you can totally ignore 2 specs of a pure dps class and go radio silent?
It’s almost like a woman you asked out that really isn’t interested but instead of just turning you down, you get the nebulous “I’m really busy” excuse.
Ugh, hate when that happens. That’s why I respecced to gay.

They did this one time and get memed on to this day. “We’d rather you didn’t play demonology”.
We’ve hoped this would happen every expansion since BfA. Only once in that time frame has Arcane been at a point where most of the people playing it would agree that it felt complete (or at least semi-complete).
Weirdly enough, that was last expansion…
Ok, I legitimately laughed out loud at this 
True, but even then they hit it with multiple nerfs the first week or two and it was not great for the first tier. Arcane is like one of those flow charts:
Does it work well? Yes? Break it. No? Ignore it for most of the expansion.
Is it performing well? Yes? Hard nerf it, multiple times if necessary. No? Give it an 8% buff and call it a day.
Is the mage community up in arms about having one decent spec and two trash ones? Yes? Screw 'em frost or fire is good so the class is fine. No? Mage must be op, nerf it.
I very much remember. During WOD when they gutted demo to make Demon Hunter.

Ugh… I’ve respecced to gay too, but that’s a class-wide problem for me lmao!
Honestly for me, this was my first character back in Wrath days (I even have junk from that time that is no longer obtainable lol), and this is the first time I’m going into an expansion and not wanting to play or main it.
Arcane is my favorite spec because I just love the theme and the spell effects.
