Arator: new Regent-Lord of Quel’Thalas?

People say that because they are trolling. One of them is someone’s level 10 alt.

That doesn’t mean Alliance members will get a seat on the leadership council or have any say in Silvermoon’s affairs.

I think people actually believe silvermoon will be neutral. I honestly wish all cities and zones were neautral so you could quest everywhere.

I think there should be neutral options but keep the already locked cities that way. It doesn’t feel good for those of us that like factions to be forced neutral. Which for Blizz hasn’t really been neutral so much as just forcing everyone Alliance side.

And now you understand Our frustrations.

I think Warmode could be non-neutral. Easy solution. Otherwise no different than me using one of the transform items to be a human in org.

No I don’t want to pvp to play the game how it was made. They can still have neutral, Horde and Alliance story. And have neutral hubs but also faction cities.

And it’s all very different than a transform toy. It’s variations in stories and alliances.

The stories would remain the same akin to how ESO does their factions

Why would there need to be a new Regent-Lord of Quel-Thalas?

Lor’themar is doing just fine, and the overwhelming majority of Blood elves love him and trust his leadership. Especially since he’s been there through all of the hard times leading literally from the front lines. And that’s without factoring in that he was granted his title by the last legitimate ruler of the Sin’dorei.

To be honest, with the fact that the entire Sunstrider bloodline has long since been wiped out, I’m legitimately surprised the Blood Elves haven’t just elevated him officially to King already. Because that’s literally what the Regent-Lord position is, a ruler in the stead of the royal heir until they return. But since all of the Sunstriders are dead, that’s never going to happen so he and his children will simply be the effective rulers of Quel’thalas for perpetuity. Those children will likely also be the stewards of Suramar as well given who their mother will be. Honestly, I think the only reason this hasn’t happened is specifically because he’s always stated that he doesn’t want the throne and doesn’t want to start a legacy of rulership in that regard. Though now that he’s married to the similarly placed leader of Suramar his perspective may have changed at this point.

Either way, even if there were going to be a new Regent-Lord selected, it most certainly would NOT be the son of two of the most prominent members of the Alliance. There’s a laundry list of much better options in the existing roster of full-blooded Sin’dorei to pick from (Rommath, Liadrin, Voren’thal, etc).

Bottom line, there’s no reason to replace Lor’themar as Regent-Lord outside of Blizzard deciding to be lazy and tiresomely repetitive and kill off yet another Horde leader for shock value.

If Silvermoon becomes the capital of elven reunification (neutral hub), this new council will have alliance elves.

Depends how they get around the whole Void Elves messing with the Sun Well issue.

We already know that the Sunwell will be in danger; the Void (Xal’atath?) will attack Quel’Thalas.

Perhaps Alleria and the Void Elves will be the best defense to help the Blood Elves.

There isn’t an official council for the Blood Elves, and hasn’t been for a VERY long time. Kael chose not to reinstate the Convocation after the Scourge assault of Silvermoon resulted in all of them dying (in addition to choosing not to take his place as king after the death of Anasterian). Lor’themar similarly chose not to reinstate the Convocation either. And frankly none of the other high ranking Blood Elves had much of an issue with that.

If the Convocation were to be reinstated at this point it would likely be a joint council of the ALREADY unified Blood Elves and Nightborne. I could easily see it’s membership being Lor’themar himself, Rommath, Liadrin, Voren’thal, Thalyssra, Occuleth, Ly’leth, and Valtrois. Potentially others from among the Blood and Nightborne elven ranks, but not really anyone outside of those two groups of High Elves with the possible exception of Valewalker Farodin (the guy who grew the Arcan’dor).

A thought occured to me. In the very unlikely chance Lothermar does decide someone else should lead Silvermoon, that might just free him to spend the rest of his life at Suramar with his wife.

Oh goody. That’s just want I want. Another Horde leader gone for stupid reasons.

And that would be a two for one.

It would be perfect if it was content exclusively for the horde but there will be a union between the different elven groups (horde, alliance and neutral).

He could also become a puppet controlled by Xal’atath and players will have to kill him or rescue him in a raid or dungeon.

No, we don’t need Alliance to start running Horde cities.

I considered Arator Alliance since his parents are Alliance, if Horde and Alliance go back to war with each other and start headbutting it is most likely he’ll assist Alliance instead of Horde. A civil war can also happen if Arator ever considers leaving the Horde, because not all Blood Elves would even trust Alliance due to their past history with them.

All my Blood elf characters consider Alliance as scum due to the Dalaran incident with Jaina and how Alliance didn’t punish her for her actions and just let it slide.

Blizzard is too cowardly to kill any Alliance off that turns evil and refuses.to turn them into raid pinatas like they always do Horde characters.

Btw, maybe I missed something, what gives Arator the qualifications to lead the Blood Elves?

Is this one of those situations like Voss? Where it’s a big name everyone recognizes so therefore that automatically means leadership material?
