I mean I generally advocate for features and story / lore for both 
Plus, having the Alliance get some nuance would make me sigh a HUGE breath of fresh air from my Horde perspective, since it gets sickeningly tiresome seeing them be this whole @$$ Mary-Sue faction all the damn time. lol
Having a genuine Worgen curse spread throughout humanity that’s unable to be deciphered which ones have their mind in tact, and which are bloodthirsty — Spreading fear, panic and mayhem throughout both humans and the Worgen alike (Those who unlike the new strain of Worgen DO have their willpower to behold themselves).
The Nuanced Tragedy
It’d be interesting to see the Alliance give a speech towards humans not to discriminate or opt towards killing, being openly skeptical of, or turning hostile against a Worgen that’s revealed such a beast form before them — Only for such a sentiment to turn on them in the worst possible way, leading to a tragedy unseen since Arthas sacked Lordaeron and having a number of humans turn into ravenous, bloodthirsty monsters.
You could have a cool questline where out of all those who were turned and the short few who were captured — Only 10% were able to be helped with the ritual the original Worgen used, and only 5% of the masses that were changed were able to regain their willpower and minds naturally.
There could be a whole interesting story and conflicting events with such.
Tragedy amongst Alliance & Horde alike …
If you later revealed there were Dreadlords who unleashed a second coming of the plague of undeath at the same time, mixed with a combined agent that sometimes causes amplified decay to those turned by the old strain / other forms of necromancy & undeath → As vengeance towards both the Alliance and Horde for unmaking the Legion and/or the machinations of Denathrius’ — You might even be able to make the Scarlet Crusade relevant again with relatively righteous or reasonable mindsets. lol
