Arathi Empire Plot Predictions

WoD was kind of this.

Again WoD pulled this off quite well. I was hoping we’d have this in TWW but since we’re sharing questlines it probably won’t ever feel like it.

The Arathi Empire has to be villains. There is no way they give an entire continent to the alliance since that would ruin any pretence of balance for the factions they had before.

This is actually an amazing moment in the hall campaign. Now everytime I see Liadrin or Alexstrasza I imagine my DK and them side eyeing each other and people around can cut the tension in the air with a knife.

Give me a Scarlet Crusader voiceperson screaming THE UNDEAD WILL INVADE YOUR HOME, MAKE YOUR CHILDREN UNDEAD AND EAT YOUR CAT with an Alex Jones vibe

… What?

Did I stutter?!

Joking aside, the OP’s probably spot on with their predictions. I was just trying to throw something else out there.

Sadly, I doubt that will happen. Of course, that does make it fair game for fan fiction writers to come up with a few ideas. Let’s see, Kane flees the planet via the tower along with a group of loyal followers. GDI proceeds to clear most of the tiberium from Earth and use the technology they’ve developed to begin colonizing the rest of the solar system. A couple centuries pass and GDI encounters a NOD Empire in space that continues to follow someone calling himself Kane. Que the next game’s story.

I should replay C&C3 sometime. And I we’re all agreed that there is no C&C4.

Same. I have the base game and its expansion on steam. I should redownload and give them a whirl

I would love a split faction story with the Arathi, one where the Arathi and Horde are at war and a diplomatic political intrigue story for the Alliance. You could even do a thing where you can choose which route you go down and have it be like the reclaiming lordaeron quests. It would give both factions the space to shine and let the story build up a backlog of new characters for each faction.

Still mad they scrapped the planed shooter. The Scrin Invasion would have been so cool.

Basic plot would be

  1. We ally with insurgents who wants to overthrow the tyrannical Emperor
  2. There is a major drought that requires rationing (of whatever magical sustenancw the Arathi has), with nobles indulging themselves in countless feasts while the majority of the populace is starving
  3. Evolved Arathi with golden eyes, holy cracks on skin, holy wings protruding from their backs, etc
  4. Some sort of a dungeon filled in Darkness by the Void
  5. We kill the Emperor in a raid, with a “but you promise!” moment with the person or entity he bargained powers with
  6. Arathi council is formed, led by the Emperor’s daughter, who refuse to acceed as Empress
  7. The Arathi joins the Horde because suprise-surprise, they actually find themselves more in common with the Sin’dorei than the humans
