AQ Events = It is not okay to grief your own faction

yeah but then the AQ event might actually be monitored and more of the people staking claims and getting outsiders denied the right to quest on “their property” would suddenly find themselves evicted from the zone instead

Again with the insults because you have no real substance to contribute.

Also this is far more than just a pvp on a pvp realm issue. Your attempts at dismissing it or minimizing it as such are laughable. Who are you kidding?

Have you seen or had 30 Cenarion Hold guards invade the hives and completely wipe a raid? It’s not just a kill them back issue as you so “eloquently” said.

Absolutely no where did I state or imply that anyone deserved unfettered access to any of the hives. Feel free to reread it at your leisure! That being said, this behavior is explicitly against Blizzard’s own guidlines.

Specifically, “Behavior that intentionally detracts from others’ enjoyment (such as griefing, throwing, feeding, etc.) is unacceptable. We expect our players to treat each other with respect and promote an enjoyable environment.”

This comes directly from Blizzard’s own CoC. If you don’t feel like this is appropriate then look up zone disruption. Every bit of what is going on falls under both.

Either way I could care less about what you think. It’s clearly against Blizzard’s own rules. And your childish insults won’t change that. You’re dismissed.

The event is already ruined for all but a few. Reported a bunch of people the first day, but I doubt that will get looked at. No one is really going back in anymore.

Too slow, too little, too late.

oh im sure Blizzard will look in to them once the event is over and no more scarab mounts are able to be obtained then theyll simply give the offenders a slap on the wrist and let them all keep the mounts

as you said too little too late the damage will already have been done and the people that controlled the zones will always their mounts as well as the memory knowing Blizzard basically allowed them to get away with ensuring the event was ruined for anyone that didnt belong to their “inner circles”

“always” is a strong word and also totally false. I have proof that I was suspended from overwatch on grounds of my hero choice and totally ignored by support staff.

I expected you to defend RCR but not lie to us… OH WAIT.

There’s that sanctimonious nonsense again.

Hive’Ashi is literally on top of the the base and the guards have a fantastic and long leash range, particularly if you kite them well. Using them to destroy your enemies and friends alike is hilarious, fun, and part of how PvP servers work with highly dangerous mobs. This is precisely how the Shattered Sun Offensive guards were used to great effect during TBC.

What is sounds like to me is that Hive’Ashi can be quickly overrun with a load of guards, so you had best be prepared for that to skedaddle, kite, or eat a death in a convenient location.

Welcome to PvP

You’ve hopped around but what you want is “fairness” on a PvP server, you know the rest of the quote you ignored? That doesn’t exist on a PvP server. You will be griefed, you will be overrun, you will have PvE elements used against you, repeatedly, and you will not get to do as you want according to your own weird concept of “fairness”

When you can find an explicit definition of “zone disruption” that gives zero discretion to Blizzard, you can claim something is absolutely actionable by Blizzard. Until then, you can kick rocks.

You’re not my superior or my father… hahahah how young are you?

I don’t care what they say. I reported one horde and alliance faction for this. They stated it was pvp.

When your own faction I cannot kill. They Mc players of opposite faction to heal and make them immune and whatever else.

They sheep them continuously to try and heal them up.

Why not let me flag my own faction to kill them. That would be ok. Heck I believe both factions being able to flag those collisions guild. Then let us destroy them.

All the arseholes that do this sort of thing went to classic. Retail has been remarkably less toxic for the last year

PvP servers have always been about griefing people, even back in Vanilla.

Work out territory with other guilds. We completed ours today. Yes, tagging sucks but it’s apart of Classic.

What did you report specifically?

To be fair it’s a lose lose. If they did absolutely nothing we’d see classic for what it is, a bad game. That doesn’t mean it isn’t fun btw. If they make any changes whatsoever theres a large portion of players who freak about how blizz is “ruining” the game.

Look at the backlash over phase 2. World pvp was never meant to be farming other players in the world in groups for 12+ hours a day making the world unplayable. But by shortening it to appease players who aren’t strictly pvp’ers they “ruined” pvp.

AV was bad because of alliance premades even though it had a relatively even win rate, so they “fixed” it and now horde win 99% of AV’s. But you can’t fix that problem because it wouldn’t be “classic” enough.

There’s plenty of other examples too. I don’t envy blizz at all, must suck knowing whatever you do your playerbase will hate you.

the only reason theyre doing it is to prevent others not in their group from obtaining the bug mount and Blizzard is not exactly rushing to deal with the issue sure they threw that well griefing and false reporting is bad line at us but beyond that theyve done little to next to nothing

heck they might as well not even said a word since thats all theyre doing is saying theyll investigate only to end up doing nothing at all

Blizzard had one shot at fixing this issue and they sat back and didnt do it or did they really think players would suddenly grow a conscience in light of the company saying they will start holding rule breakers accountable?

sadly theyve been letting this kind of players behavior go on for too long and theyve grown accustomed knowing Blizzards response is slow to do anything

Cheating…

They did - they made a post how they weren’t going to interfere in devilsaur mafias. So essentially they already had.

What I don’t get is this… If I am on discord with a friend and we both play on the same realm, but I choose to play Alliance and they choose to play Horde and we both are doing the stuff and I say to them " There are a lot of people here in X zone" I should be banned because I just told them where there are a lot of alliance players are at? What if I choose to play Horde and Alliance on 2 different accounts and I am doing stuff in the same zone with that character? I should be banned because I decided to tell other players of my faction there seems to be alot of players in a certain location in X zone?

If not, how exactly do you verify bad intentions if someone who play play both factions on the same realm are telling others of that faction there are player of the other faction in X zone or location?

If you are upset over someone telling a large group of people of the other faction where you or others are at. Tell people in your chat that there are people of that faction there. Bring the PVP to them and clear them out of there. If you can’t, then that just means either you don’t PVP as well as them or you may need more people to number them more.

The only reason you’d have two accounts and roll opposite factions on the same server would be for “bad intentions.” Most likely to communicate with people of the opposing faction after they did something to upset you. It happens all the time.

Can you give me one legitimate reason why someone would roll horde and alliance on the same server? Every reason I can think of would be considered “bad intentions” in most peoples opinion.

What? Me having two accounts does not immediately mean I am using them for bad intentions. You can’t have two characters of the opposing factions on WoW Classic and maybe I enjoy the game so much that I want a Horde character and Alliance character on the same realm. Could have friends or family on both sides on the same realm. I may raid seriously on one, while I play casual as the other for the pure enjoyment of the game.

What is wrong with that?
