Some items when first loaded into the new Auction House do not load with their appearance data available.
This means that Ctrl+Clicking to preview them will not work - the Dressing Room window will not appear at all.
The appearanceLink information in their rowData is empty.

If the Auction House search is repeated, the data will be populated.
At a glance these items seem to most often be crafted gear or weapons from Warlords of Draenor or Legion, however I have seen it with some raid drop BoEs as well.
