The sad thing is that I’d actually welcome Arator if this backstory had happened onscreen. If we’d seen him visiting Silvermoon for the first time in TBC, and if he’d been a Horde-friendly NPC there for a few expansions, maybe been someone Lor’themar talked to in a few cutscenes or short stories, I’d be hyped for seeing him as a main character of the new expansion. Because I’d really feel like he belonged in the Horde, instead of being shoved into it (like so many characters before him) because the writers couldn’t be bothered to develop actual Horde NPCs with history.
