So they are apparently going to be culling the cast even further.

Or they could just let our characters retire in peace! points at Tyrande and Malfurion

If anything shocking deaths for shocking death sake is lame.

i hope anduin dies and slyvanas even thrall. thrall is a wuss and he betrayed the horde.

Are they going to kill off the last two Horde characters?

Oh I see they are finally finishing their demolition job of the blood elves /s

They can’t possibly shock any Horde players with getting rid of characters at this point. BfA got rid of 4 prominent Horde characters(two of which were racial leaders) and I’m not even including Rhastakhan.

the only horde cast left is like people who’ve only had 5 minutes of screen time, and baine and thrall
I think only thralls death would even matter.

Alliance has plot armor so buckle up for either Lor’themar or Thrall biting it.

Hopefully a bunch of alliance chars die. Sick of following them around

I hope so.

Kill all of the meandering Alliance characters that have just been standing around since antiquity.

God we need new characters that aren’t just one-note ā€˜good guy heroes’ or ā€˜remember the RTS games!?’ characters.

Actual Horde characters that aren’t just ā€˜x race stereotype’ would be nice.

I seriously hope so. Way too many characters have stayed alive for too long. We keep expanding the cast with new or longtime returning characters (which I appreciate), but the numbers aren’t really getting any smaller. The only pre-existing character to die in TWW was Locus-Walker, Magni and Khadgar both had fake-outs.

I want to come out of the Worldsoul Saga with like 10 relevant good guys dying. Make it tragic too, I want to actually get wrecked by some of these - not just characters having their big ā€œHeroic sacrifice momentsā€ like Ga’nar or Varian, or characters being villain-batted like Benidictus, etc.

You guy are too focused on cutting faction characters - that’s boring. They need to kill characters people care about, or kill characters people didn’t like in ways that make people feel bad for wanting them gone in the first place.

Do something bold - have Lor’themar lose his family and have a moment of Scourge/Amani PTSD kick in after seeing his loved ones die from a threat he’s failed to stop. Have Alleria and Turalyon get emotionally devastated after witnessing Arator die trying to live up to their legacies. Create a rift in the Alliance by having Umbric and Alleria call on… let’s say one of the Bronzebeards that appeared in TWW, only for them to die and for their death to have ultimately mean nothing.

Hope its the Horde characters who die. Or better yet Blizzard realize this is a stupid idea and backs off.

Let our characters that we love actually retire and finally have some damn peace.

Zerde pretends to be for the faction barriers falling, right until someone says something about the alliance and then the mask falls

Can we clear the Windrunners off the board at long last? And honestly, Thrall feels completely played out at this point, and he’s already tried to retire several times and it didn’t stick. Just please, if we kill Thrall, have the Alliance do it in some way dramatic enough to get Baine’s attention and shake him out of his passivity.

As it stands the cast has grown but Blizzard can’t seem to make narrative space for more than a small handful, so we need to cycle out the ones that hog all the space. They had chances in TWW but ended up doing cheap fake outs, Magni should’ve been allowed his sacrifice. They’ve done a decent bit of setup for handing off a lot of the subfactions to a new generation, but that generation (Tess, Rokhan, Shandris, etc.) haven’t really gotten to do anything yet for the most part.

Or I can do both. I am 100% in favor of dropping the faction barriers once and for all but until that happens I am still 100% team Alliance.

Which of the Horde could they even kill off? Oh no, the B listers died! THat’s so tragic and-:zzz::zzz:

you can, it just means its really easy to see that its all just powered by spite for the otherside.

Spite and yet I specifically said:

Hope its the Horde characters who die. Or better yet Blizzard realize this is a stupid idea and backs off.

Like my preference is no one dies. But if someone does have to die, I am hoping its the Horde for the simple reason I like the Alliance, not particular because I hate the Horde. You are free to wish the inverse.

The only horde characters we’ve seen involved in the expac are lor’themar, calia, foal and rommath. So like only really two people they can kill off there.

Whatever you gotta tell yourself buddy.

Who would they even kill off from the Horde for a ā€˜dramatic death’? More B-listers? The Horde has Lor’themar and Thrall left, that’s pretty much it. Like speaking personally, if they wiped out the Desolate Council to make the death toll against Xal’atath dramatic I’d just shrug my shoulders. Who cares.

By virtue of the Alliance being the only cosmic-relevant faction & actually developed characters versus the Horde’s b-listers they refuse to touch, they’re likely the ones taking the death toll should Blizzard decide to off some characters for dramatic effect. None of the Horde have people like Umbric, Turalyon, Alleria, Velen… How’s Faol gonna die, a void meteor hits him off-screen while he’s in the Ruins of Lordaeron?
