Isn’t great for frost mages.
Don’t care, still love my wild seed.
Wiggles toes
This is basically my reaction to covenants. Them tying a powerful ability and player power into the covenants is a mistake, and I don’t care about power compared to pure enjoyment.
Yeah, metas always get nerfed. Might as well play what you enjoy.
It irks me that some are actually really impactful, but I’ve stopped caring about that kind of thing. It just ruins my enjoyment.
Frankly, I’m just glad that my chosen covenant had both the most fun abilities, and the ones that are best for DPS.
I was gonna go Night Fae regardless, but it’s nice to know that I’m still playing as best as I can. Wish everyone was that lucky.
Love your name.
I like color, so I had little choice.
Stamps feet in joy
Night fae is awesome.
It is however bugged.
The Venthyr ability would do wonders for my Disc spec, but I wanted to be Night Fae for now.
Putting something like a rogue into Night Fae doesn’t seem too useful on the outset. Soulshape is okay for running away, and Sepsis is okay for doing some damage. But once you stop looking at the figures and do what you want, you realize that Soulshape is fun you can use anywhere, and Sepsis can demolish groups in Torghast.
Metas come and go, your fun is what matters most.
borrowed power needs to go or make it not over shadow your classes abilities…but blizz is dumb so BP is here to stay \o/
?
I’m going off aesthetics over the meta. But I dont raid or do m+ or pvp so doesn’t phase me at all. I will play what I think fits the class over what people think I should play
Having just completed the campaign on my Arms Warrior… Maldraxxus is definitely the worst feeling covenant but them mogs and mount are more important.
My rogue would definitely go castlevania.
My main. You bet I want color.
I feel that every choice is bad. Venthyr = bosses, Kyrian = AoE, Night fae = PvP, if we add aesthetics and campaign to that, simply any choice is a bad choice.
I know this doesn’t happen to all classes, but it’s still annoying.
The second I saw night fae, and the plate armor I knew I’d pick them no matter what the “meta” was.
I get to live out my fantasy game niche of a woodland Paladin mix
Saw the set for cloth wearers and I loved it.
Plate Night Fae terrifies me.
Chasing “best” feels like a waste of time an energy for all but the top end players. That said It really irks me how some abilities are just trash and picking them means you’re doing that much less on runs. Even worse your “best” covenant can vary a lot depending on your spec, C’mon blizz why say no meta’s then do this?
Don’t worry. The really strong ones will be nerfed. The super weak ones will be buffed.
I am not in a world first guild, so I have the luxury to enjoy what I like.
