They are threatening me because they dislike that I pointed out something they disliked (to be pointed out). So they are trying to roleplay the role of a mafioso or something like that.

It simply means that a certain user follows me around all the time on the forums and waiting for an opportunity to “comment snipe”, like a broken record. While I don’t care for this behavior, I really don’t like that I have to justify my indifference about this with the other family members, who clearly think I should contact the support regarding this.

Meaning, that they should not comment, interact or quote the user in any regard, because I don’t need a babysitter. The emphasis is on forums. Where do you read that this is a “veiled real life” situation?
I’m still not sure why we’re pretending we have some sort of backup when other posters dare to disagree.

True, I just find it interesting to see just the overall devolution of how people try to form their arguments. But yah’ you are right it is quite a yikes thing, I just think the yikes-portion of it is quite interesting.
