Awesome, that means my Ghuun AotC is perfectly legit, since I stole the MTs brez (I got offered it first, it’s MINE, jackass!) tgen because we only had one tank left Ghuun started systematically murdering everyone - except for ME! I was the sole survivor! The last man standing! I slew Ghuun! And I’m crazy enough to do the rest of that stuff as is anyway. Except for the star spangled banner, I’m an Aussie. I’d sing the Australian National Anthem but no one knows the words to that, especially not past the first verse. NO ONE knows the 2nd verse… Most don’t even know there is one…
It was also funny being praised for it even though I basically nearly wiped the raid because I took the MTs rez. Yes, feed my bad habits and overinflated ego…

You’d still have people starting groups demanding AOTC without actually having AOTC themselves for a free carry.

I think this late in the tier it doesn’t matter, but at the beginning aotc is pretty important as the amount of people who buy it is vastly smaller compared to now
Yeah selling AOTC in week one is doable but it’s like… why would you spend like a million gold in week one when you can just pug it in week three
Aotc indeeds doesnt mean anything to me as well, try not to be bothered by it is the best thing i can think of if you doesnt care to see it. Also, i can tell you another side of the story, iam a returnee player, i have played for like 4 weeks now. My gear is good, currently 457, i have decent damage, have proven assailant title and all, but hardly any party take me because when they look at my low io or doesnt have AOTC. It really turn me off to see most lfg description nowaday are " link aotc" or “will check io”. Its feel like iam applying to a job most of the times and its kinds leave a bad taste to my enjoyment. I like to have fun, not playing with boring people who only look at my profile.

One, one stat, maybe.
In all honesty how many times do you try and find someones Warcraft logs to check this? It’s worth it, but how often would you do this? I’ve done it once when trying to find someone for a guild mythic raid, never for a pug run.
They need this kind of information in game rather than on an external site, and this is something Blizzard needs to implement. But than would it truly be an indicator? I regularly do well in my guilds DPS, but when I check the logs I have like 40% parses because there is too much outside assistance that can affect your stats. Like now there is corruption, so my 470 iLVL with bit pieces of corruption vs. someone who has farmed echoes and purchased BiS corruption would be vastly different.
There are things like rogues who can 5 roll RTB vs someone who gets only single rolls, the DPS would be way off each other and therefore the parses also. I remember one fight in Orgozoa on my rogue, I 5 rolled my first roll and through out so much DPS the adds died too fast and killed us. If we survived and won that would have been close to a perfect parse.
I mean, I see what you’re saying (not necessarily agreeing or disagreeing though), but I don’t think it would really change much if it was a full-clear dealie. You could probably still buy a carry or have friends carry you. It would just take longer and cost more.
I suppose I should at least give you the option of lying before accusing you of such. See you Tuesday.
I actually did enough damage to not be a carry! But I would never have tried to PUG if it wasn’t for Dreta convincing me otherwise.
Also, Nzoth itself was far easier than other bosses in the raid. Many people queue for gear from other bosses in the raid or well you know, getting to the end requires beating the others. So just showing you beat the end boss doesn’t mean much.

I’m at the point that I’d rather have people link mythic achievements. I’m trying to get it done, not reprogress in flippin’ heroic.

What percentage do you think but their aotc? Obviously no one knows the correct number I am just curious how many you think it is that it is a significant enough problem to bring up.
I think aotc is just stupid in its entirety.
So use raider io, it shows if people have full cleared.
Also why are u using the word compromise? There was never an issue in the first place

This would just make the carry more expensive, as they now have to carry you through the whole thing. Besides, rio shows if someone is 12/12 or not.
