It means all they have done at a minimum is kill one boss.

OP is right, they can just pay for the carry, and a lot of people who pay do it just for the AoTC so they can group with others who have AoTC, which, is dumb, like utterly stupidly dumb. Players want to host AoTC groups, they want others who have AoTC so they don’t not have to explain the basics of each fight to others. More so that they can have an easier run and be carried.

But it just ends up having someone who was carried grouping with others who were carried and the odd person who knows the fight willing to talk others through it until the group with minimal experience hits a boss non of them can lead the group through and your AoTC run is just a fail.

Really? That’s just mean for no reason. Stop it. There are MANY reasons a guild would take multiple months to clear a raid, and OP was not flexing or trying to say ANYTHING about superiority.

No the problem is that even with stats it means nothing. You could have all boss kills and still play like garbage. You could have multiple of all boss kills and it means nothing. You could have a 2K IO, 460+ iLVL, 3-4 of each boss kill, an early AoTC, but play like garbage.

Stats are meaningless and pointless since they can all easily be manipulated without ever actually knowing what you are doing or knowing how to even play the game.

Those multiple kill players, the high IO, the high iLVL. It’s all so much inflated now more than any other time in this games history that you could get the best and worst players in the world with the same stats.

Eliminate participation! Make raiding epic again! And make sure the OP gets all her free stuff!

I like the constant flex of being able to get people on the forums AOTC, when you yourself haven’t even cleared the raid and only killed N’zoth 5 times.

As far as AOTC goes it would be nice to have something better to go by ingame but I wouldnt care if they changed it as long as I can get the mount before it goes away whether it comes with a achieve or not.

This whole thread perplexes me, because we ONLY sell full clears. Nor do we get people asking for “Nzoth only”. They want the full run.

IO pulls from Armory and tells you their X/12 progress on all difficulties.

The armory gives you a viable metric already, as well as raider io. A carry is a carry lots of groups sell full carries and lots of people get carried by guilds for free.

AOTC is never going to be a ‘viable metric’ of actually being able to perform all the fights.

I think they should just make achievements for killing heroic bosses along with normal and mythic.

Because I started actually playing the endgame in like week 14 and I didn’t start raiding until week 17. :kek: friendo, :kek:

i would love nothing more for devs to make selling carries against tos. its ruined a lot of aspects of the game.
