i still cant find my characters they were in thunderfury … what can i do to get them back?

You have to wait two weeks, at which point they will become available on the realm that they were transfered to, which would be Sulfuras. Best of luck, and try asking for some game time compensation from customer support. Might not get it, worth a shot.

Well according to the blue post if the characters were forced moved from Thunderfury then they are going to Sulfuras. I believe they had also said this could take up to two weeks… so besides checking in to see if they show up I doubt you can do much of anything until that window has passed (if they don’t show up).

Nope, I’m fine.
The part that bugs me about this consolidation was the false advertising of the original post about moving these characters to “realms” with higher populations. What they actually did was move almost all these characters to an island.
Its just pretty difficult to understand why Blizzard is explaining this stuff post facto. I mean, they’ve conditioned their subscribers to expect little to no communication. However, at this point it feels ridiculous.
“Earthfury is a special case.” great. whatever that means.

I haven’t played in almost a year. I received no email and do not check Blizzard update blogs. I’m just not sure how I was supposed to know without being directly informed.

If only they had some sort of launcher that was made specifically to deliver some news or updates on the game to players, they probably could’ve posted something about this there. That way if there were any updates, players wouldn’t have to worry about scouring the internet for information, they could simply pay attention to the updates on the launcher and stay well informed of any past or future changes!
Could you imagine if they actually had something like this and they simply never bothered to use it? Boy, that sure would be silly.

I just rejoined and started levelling my druid; I had no idea of this and now she’s gone.
How am I supposed to get her ready for lich king now?
Between work and parenting I’m not sure where I was supposed to take the time to be educated this was happening.

Hi guys. I’ve been offline from like 2 years. I see some toons but the one i played last time it’s gone. Is BLIZZ giving some solution to this?

This is absolutely pathetic. My rogue that I was wanting to lvl is lost in the wind and my warrior, paladin and mage are all on different servers than my hunter >.< I guess now blizzard wants me to spend 100 dollars to move them all back to one server… blizzard just keeps screwing us. Just makes me want to uninstall and never look back honestly.

I had 4 toons moved to different realms and one that just disappeared and I have had a ticket in for a while now with no answer. It really bugs me as I had all of my toons on one server now they are just scattered all over the place and I am not spending money since this is clearly what blizzard intended >.<

What servers did your toons go to? I thought they were all supposed to go to Sulfuras if in NA?
my warrior is on sulfuras and my i think my mage went to bloodsail. Not sure i would have to look but I am just kinda freaking out that all my toons are not one one server anymore and my rogue is still just gone. All i wanted to do is log in and lvl the my rogue. I saw they said it could take 2 weeks but that was over a month ago

That’s messed up about the mage going to Bloodsail (or some other server).
I hope you see your rogue soon. Yeah, I can see why you came here to complain.

All my characters on the effected realms have been unavailable for the entire 2 week duration, is there any possibility of perhaps being given some free game time to compensate mine and other’s losses in this realm consolidation? I realize some people have had their characters already transferred or a portion of their characters, but I have literally been missing them all the entire time and still am as of this post.

I have literally lost everything on this character my gear and my warlock that i paid 75 dollars for the deluxe edition for BC offered. Will i ever get the items back on my mage? This is really stressful for I purchased a subscription and i cant even play my characters. I doubt they’ll reimburse my sub lol. This isn’t cool at all. Not only did i lose a character i paid 75 dollars to boost through your CashShop. But i also lost all the gear on my mage. Will my items ever be returned to me? thank you.

The funniest part is. While they take our money I’ve been hearing they wont do anything about it until Wrath of the Lich King. So as my time and money is wasted while you guys can sip champagne an caviar on my hard earned money.
