Title? I think their customization is interesting and seems really passionate in its effort even tho I wish it had new animations.
I’m thinking about it. I like the gem eating idea…sounds interesting. I’m not sure how it works though… do they have to have a gem in inventory or something to make it work?
Supposedly it has not worked in the beta yet so we dont know how it will work on live, but it sounds awesome regardless.
If only they could do the same thing with flasks.

The 10% armor increase from equipment sounds nice for Ele Shaman too.

I’m not entirely sure. Leaning towards no.
It’s a hard sell for me to want to replace my Dark Iron Dwarf Shaman with, ya’know, another Dwarf. Practicality / Racial evaluation is up in the air I guess, but it’s also hard to say I’d want to give up mole machine or fireblood for 10% armor or a little extra vers from eating gems. I’m not a big fan of the Alliance races that can be Shaman, and Earthen do little to change that.
For my Horde characters the answer is a resounding no. Trolls, Vulpera, Tauren, Orcs… I have so many options for a Shaman that I like, and Earthen isn’t even a consideration. Now if we ever get some new beast races, like Gnolls, Sethrak, Quillboar etc. then I may reconsider haha.
