Trolling me? That’s adorable. You’re clearly the one who has the reading comprehension issues, particularly since I made it very clear in my first reply to you that I wasn’t going to change my posting style to appease awful players who think they have the ability and experience to discuss game balance.
Multiboxers kind of ruined the Range Class’ gameplay.
Can you expand on this?
Casters aren’t blocked from casting for 20 seconds in M+ either. Or basically ever. On top of that, every caster has important parts of their core DPS loop that can be performed on the move.
I’ll say this as a very casual PvE only player and this just applies to my own experience:
playing a melee is 100x easier than a ranged for me. Ranged have to plan ahead. They need to think a little more about where they are standing, where they can move, be more aware of their cool downs… They are squishier and have less protection from damage, so you have to use your utility instead. It’s just easier to play a melee. I think “bring the class not the player” applies to melee a lot more than ranged.
And that’s okay
But I think it does make a difference in what the op is about. The ease of play makes tackling the situation simpler for me so I can keep up without much extra effort.
What!? Just… no…
There’s a bigger gap between casters that know what they’re doing and the one that struggle to stand still and watch swirlies, at the mid-top of pvp scene, mage and lock comps dominate the game, and its very common for world first comp consisting of multiple mages and lock as well, MDI also consist of 2-3 BM hunter, the game has never been more caster oriented than before.
Should the game be tuned around the bad casters or the good casters?
Could people who don’t actually play stop trolling for one day? Raids especially Nzoth are dominanted by fire mages destro locks and BM hunters especially once severe hits the vendors. Arms warriors are good but not ranged and don’t have an immunity.
It’s also extremely difficult to pull off, one mistake and you’re facing a 10-15s lockdown. Meanwhile there’s nothing to stop Rampage or Mutilate from happening.
Well after WotLK, it seems they devs were desperately trying to prevent the out come of a Battleground being changed by one person playing three characters of the same class, since “/Follow” is now inactive, the changes are completely unnecessary.
This could be one of many reasons.
If you fear them , it will stop it from happening, if they kick the fear, use your root (3s) and proceed to fear anyway after that.
All that destro players have to do is understand that they have 2 spell school and its free rating going forward.
Are you high? Let’s take Wrathion for example, shall we? Ranged don’t have to deal with Gale Blast and can keep DPS’ing him. Maut, with Devour Magic, ranged don’t have to move 20 yards outside of their attack range to drop it. Prophet, ranged don’t have to wait to start attacking the Shred Psyche add. Shadhar, ranged aren’t clustered around one another so Umbral Eruption is easier to sidestep and avoid. Drest, you don’t have to worry about getting a healing absorb on you because you went into melee range of a Maw. Ilgynoth, you aren’t stacked anyway so you don’t have to worry as much about MC. Vexiona, you don’t have to be worry about being hit by the add beam. Ra-den, you can start attacking orbs/adds without moving even the tiniest bit. N’zoth, you aren’t stacked in melee range of tentacles so you don’t have to worry about idiots standing on you during Paranoia. The list goes on. You, like the others, have no clue what you’re talking about and would rather be the victim.

You’re gonna need to provide some evidence for that claim, because Blizzard hasn’t made a real effort to “balance” random BGs since they stopped being the primary form of PvP progression in TBC.
Meanwhile there’s nothing to stop Rampage or Mutilate from happening.
Rampage and mutilate also can’t hit for half your HP. Sounds like the difficulty and payout are in relative proportion.
Evidence would of reasons behind such changes would be improbable to obtain. As one who plays an Arcane Mage, even I am still questioning why the developers applied changes to their survivability for the worse.
I don’t know about this. Like Caargon said, they haven’t made any real effort to balance random BGs.
40 yard range is outdated. Buff to 50 and make ranged great again.
The apologists say ranged is fine, you have bad positioning, etc.
Yet it’s plum evident looking at 15+ and then 20+. Destro locks go from 11% ranged representation to 6% in that bracket and it’s easy to understand why. 20+ you just fall over from standing in anything regardless of how “durable” a ranged you are supposed to be.
That’s the big knock on warlocks as far as I’m concerned. You’re supposed to be more durable so you can turret more but many times it doesn’t feel that way.
Apologists? That’s adorable. You just want an excuse to stand in bad because you are laughably lazy. Also, why exactly do you care about representation at 20+? You, like the others, can’t even time 15s.
P.S. If you are going to make claims about representation, provide proof.
Stow the salt and go over to raider. io
You’re welcome.
I’ve looked at RaiderIO and I notice plenty of Destro and Demo Locks timing up to the mid 20s. You are literally whining because you can’t stand in things and expect to live. It’s hilarious.
