Anyone leveled as Prot from lv 10 to 60 and enjoyed the experience?

You don’t even have to logout. Just go to “Change Character” and re-select your same character you’re already posting on. Boom, refreshed and even easier than a logout/login.

Fair enough.

I did in vanilla, twice. Undead and Tauren.

Loved it.

I’m leveling as Prot, currently sitting at 29. My routine has been to hit the appropriately leveled dungeon as soon as I’m eligible, gain a few levels, and then quest 2-3 levels below me.

I’m having a ton of fun. Last night might’ve been the first “bad” PUG I had. They needed a tank for BFD. I joined. I try to form my own groups when tanking because I’m somewhat particular about how I want to run, but when joining a PUG, I usually announce that if they can give me a few seconds with the mobs at the beginning of a pull, they can go nuts on DPS. I just want those few initial precious seconds. They said it was cool and then proceeded to do the exact opposite.

I put on my 2H and we finished without any real problems but I think we could’ve shaved 10 minutes off our time if we were a bit more efficient and a tad less chaotic.

But I’m having fun leveling as a Prot warrior and although things could obvioiusly be a bit faster when soloing, I’m leveling a bunch of alts and I’m in no rush to 60.

Good luck out there!

From my experience as a warlock, it seems Prot Warriors appreciate the group invite when they’re on a 20-60 mob kill quest. And I appreciate not having to heal myself as often so its a sort of win-win.
