Anyone know of any LGBT friendly communities?

Seems to be the reason. maybe they thought you were looking for an official LGBTQIA server.

Turns out you weren’t really looking for that.

Picking the right guild for you and talking in voice chat is your business, not blizzard or the server’s business. Figure it out yourself. Doesn’t matter what your lifestyle is or who you are, everyone will have communities they fit and one’s they don’t fit in every server.

Maybe we should leave sexual preference out of WoW? I don’t give two craps about what you like getting freaky with.

Tbh i think your best bet for the most “friendly” server is a RP or RP PVP server. Most people on these servers are “usually” more mature.

Sometimes we have to hope for the best and ignore the ones we dislike. If they harass you, Blizzard will help you.

Not rppvp though. There’s only one rppvp. Several threads already threatening people that don’t RP not to come there or they will get reported over and over.

Just remember RP / RP PVP servers have naming rules and you must respect others that RP even if you decide not to RP

It’s cool we are already part of an rp realm and rp regularly. Thanks guys!

Its the 1% that make that and they have no real power but to right click and ignore

Not necessarily more mature, but definitely much more likely to have an ‘anything goes’ atmosphere… I mean look at Pornshire.

I don’t know I feel that you find more mature people on RP servers vs non RP servers since I started in BC.

At least for me thats how its been

People just don’t want to play with major streamers, which is understandable.

How do you feel about RP servers?

I have seen the complete opposite since they day WoW launched. You have a very loud group of people on RP realms that are extremely intolerant of anyone who does not think exactly the way they do. That is the opposite of “mature”.

You are never going to find a server (10,000+ people that will be accepting of everyone) good luck finding a 60 person guild where everyone accepts everyone.

At some point you need to deal with the world you live in.

I am a 28 year old man, I work and deal with the world everyday.

Not sure why you think I need to deal with abuse in game too.

You shouldn’t, should be really easy to find a guild/groups where nothing from the real world matters.

Why not just look for a friendly guild on a server of your choosing? Your RL preferences, partners, spouses, or anything else shouldnt matter. If you are cool to be around, find people you get along with. It seems as though the folks making the largest issue about sexuality are the ones who dont appear to want to be around people not like them. Thats hardly inclusive.

If you took the time to read the thread you’d see that was never my position. I’m looking for friendly open people, not an lgbt only guild.

I don’t care if people don’t like my sexuality, I just asked where I could find more open people so I didn’t need to potentially deal with drama until I do. LGBT friendly does not mean LGBT only.

The thing is that the letters are completely unnecessary if you are just looking for a friendly group to play with. You could accomplish your task by saying simply that you are looking for a friendly, inclusive guild to call home. You are using the letters as an identifier and group limiter.
Every single human being has personal hangups, and when you say things the way you have it really makes it appear that yours relate to anyone not lgbt. You may not mean it, but thats how it comes across.

It’s called self-fulfilling prophecy.
