Anyone know if Radiant Echo currency vendor will disappear at launch?

Do we have to spend them prior to the Aug 26 launch, or will the vendor stay so we can continue to purchase? I haven’t found any information to confirm this. thanks

If it follows past pre-expansion events, yes

The vendor may go away, but we’ll be stuck with the currency forevermore, as is the way with currencies.

I think the DF prelaunch vendor stuck around for a while before they removed it.

Not necessarily.
I still have old prelaunch event currencies hanging around on my main.

The DF storms currency also transferred over, as a more recent example.

But can you spend old currencies?

Spend it on the 32 slot bags for your alts, before the event is over.

I want to know too. I have 40k currency. I know I have alts that could use 480 pieces, but I have 64 toons so I am just too lazy to sort out who to buy gear for lol

The 32 slot bags are like 15g on my server, you might just be better off vendoring the gear items back for gold instead.

Transfer all currency to a level 10 allied race alt.
Banish them to the phantom zone(delete them)
Currency gone.

Easy as that.

But like sendryn said, they will most likely hang around for a week or so.
But I wouldn’t wait just to be safe. For all we know, they could poof come Tuesday (I doubt it but still).
Tbh I’m thinking when s1 starts they will disappear.

They are so inconsistent, its impossible to tell what they will do.

And funny note on that, I have a lot of the prepatch currency in my bank lol

I happened to walk by him yesterday at the Argent Tournament and my All The Things addon had a long tooltip on him explaining that while he’s still technically available the currency is impossible to earn anymore to buy anything from him lol

Caught my eye at the time.
