Its not. The argument im making is that we got it in TBC, we got it in Cataclysm. We havent had it since.
Why is that? Something changed.
- They aren’t faction specific
- They dont have a unique model

It’s not that they can’t, it’s that they won’t.
You think its a time/roi issue?
Gods I hate shrink flation…
They’ll just make lays chips twice as empty!
Well, that makes a little more sense ,ty.They’re neutral til they chose.
They have plenty of races currently they could use but refuse too.
Orges was one of them. Naga could be too.
His first point in the collective was that:
- Each faction gets a new race
I think he meant each faction get their own unique race. Thats how i read it anyways. That being said , Ive been wrong many times.

They’ll just make lays chips twice as empty!
That letdown when you open a bag of chips these days… to quote GDs favorite over-used phrase… it feels bad.
Oh, he already brought that up with me and it’s stupid and arbitrary, imo. Pandas apparently don’t count to him and that’s nonsensical.
Dracthyr are based on Worgen
They are not.
Kul Tiran on Ogres
Also untrue.
There is nothing that indicates that any of the skeletons mentioned are shared.
Oh, he already brought that up with me and it’s stupid and arbitrary, imo.
Just because you dont like it doesnt mean its arbitrary.
There was a precedent. Its been gone. I think its because they cant recreate what they had. If you dont like it, there are other threads.
Just because you dont like it doesnt mean its arbitrary.
It is. Pandaren apparently don’t even count to you and that’s just nonsensical at best.
Criteria were laid out explaining why they dont count. This is how arguments work. You start with a premise. Again, if you dont like that premise, there are plenty of other threads.
Even if it did count, Pandaria wasnt released yesterday.
Criteria were laid out
And your Horde v Alliance criteria is nonsensical. That’s also how arguments work.
We’ve had new races with new rigs and starter zones and can join both Horde and Alliance. But somehow that’s not good enough.
There’s nothing else to be said.
Even if it did count, Pandaria wasnt released yesterday.
No, but Dracthyr were this expansion and are like Pandaren. But again, arbitrary weird “I need it to be specific Horde v Alliance” stops you from seeing the bigger picture.
But somehow that’s not good enough.
I dont know what “good enough” has to do with it.
And your Horde v Alliance criteria is nonsensical.
If I may say, without upsetting anyone, I think he just wrote his original criteria wrong vs what he wanted to say. I feel it should have been written
- Each faction gets their own unique race. (2 different races)
- Those 2 races each have a unique skeleton
- Those 2 races each get a unique starting zone
Dont kill me with the side-eye or harsh words.
runs
For every new race/skeleton they add, they have to rework every single piece of armor to fit on the new model. It’s why almost every new race has been a modified version of an old race.
When they can just give us a 3rd dwarf instead, and not have to do any of that, why would they bother?
I think he meant each faction get their own unique race.
That’s the impression I’m starting to get, but that isn’t what they said.
Or they just like moving goal posts. One or the other.
Criteria were laid out explaining why they dont count.
Except there wasn’t. The only time you even mentioned Pandaren was
Pandas were unique
You said they were unique, but failed to explain why they’re more “unique” than any other race.
The only thing they had that other races didn’t is they could be both factions, but now Dracthyr can too. by definition wouldn’t that make neither unique?
I’m genuinely curious what makes Pandaren special here lol
Edit: also, why does it need to be unique?
That’s the impression I’m starting to get, but that isn’t what they said.
It is what i meant. How is what i wrote any different in its meaning?
You said they were unique, but failed to explain why they’re more “unique” than any other race.
The skeleton. Thats what this whole thread is regarding.
Except there wasn’t.
There was
Edit: also, why does it need to be unique?
I got the impression the worry was that Blizz will never spend the resources to give each of the factions its own unique race again. I think that’s why it “needs” to be unique to fit the worry. I don’t know anymore. …and I don’t know why I’m the one trying to explain it when it wasn’t my idea. Perhaps because Thunder doesnt seem like a trolling type of dude thats why i think he was just misunderstood.
