Not really op. Only reason im going to have 2 is to cover both specs for my world content end-game. However if i cant use humanoid form for all abilities than I’ll have even less reason to play it.
I dont like how the dragon form looks. Its a discount argonian and looks like garbage. Being stuck in that form would cause me to not even bother. Its why i dont play worgans.
I don’t know, they look fine to me. I will play one once the expansion goes live.
I love the race but am unsure about the class.
Nope. Want to play Evoker and love the race. Sorry.
Edit: I mean, I don’t care about their Visage form, but I absolutely love their Dracthyr form. I will just put up with Visage when the game forces me to use it. Elsewise I fine just pretending it doesn’t exist. ![]()
They do not look ugly and I will main one.
You’re playing a Kul Tiran… i think you can stomach it.
I’m happy with everything they have shown with the evoker. can’t wait to play it.
Tentatively yes.
I’m yet to see how they actually play and what they bring to groups, but the concept of playing a Humanoid Dragon based class is quite appealing.
However, as a main, I loathe the models (still early days I admit) and by extension, their Transmit restrictions as I avoid races who look goofy in most of their Tier sets.
I would much prefer the Visage form to useable at all times (if desired) outside of certain abilities.
I just wish they unlocked other classes for the Dracthyr. Give me my Dracthyr shaman/mage/warrior/rogue.
Yeh, that I will sign to. I would absolutely switch this Mage to a Dracthyr if I could. Evoker looks like my type of class too, and I’m thrilled that I’ll have access to a healing AND a DPS spec on my main again, but I am gonna miss my portals. ![]()
If other players requests force us to see/use it more I’ll be so mad~
I want it to be never, like Worgen human form; nonexistent after the intro.
yea blizzard really missed the mark with Dracthyr. The reality is that most people that like wow dragons don’t want to play an actual dragon.
Warcraft dragons are literally just pretty people that happen to be master shapeshifters summed up. They are pretty lame.
That is what I fear as well. I like the dracthyr. I don’t want to play as an elf.
Since they don’t get their visage form until later in their starting zone i’m assuming it won’t be required. Just an unlockable option.
I don’t know I’ll give it a shot. I was only around for half of legion but I get this feeling that I should have made a Demon Hunter and played then as my main.
I should probably go with the evoker for this expansion because of the emphasis. I love my death knight a lot though

I didn’t read the OP’s message as that; it sound like they just want the ability to pick which is something they promised. It’s much easier for them to do this now than change something like a Druid. I’m all for customization.
Regardless I will main the new class to refresh my wow feeling and I’m looking forward to being in my human image 99% of the time.
Warcraft dragons are giant lizards that choose a second form to interact with us tiny people, you have that backwards
Ah see there is your confusion. Not they never said it would happen they said things that make people calm down, and stop yelling about it. Just like with allowing Dracthyr to tank we got vague platitudes. But nothing concrete so down the line if it never happens they can honestly say they never promised. See notice they are working through it and they want people to have that option.
But in 4 months it might be “yeah sorry guys we can’t make it work” And I wouldn’t be surprised if they did. Because the moment you can full on visage form for combat people will start wondering why other races have to be left out. I also think this is the reason for locking out other races for visage so they can claim they haven’t done the work on those rigs to make them work with the class.
It will be something new and different, so likely will make one of each spec to try out. To me, looks are mostly secondary. If it’s not as ugly as the Maldraxxian leather armor set, which actually got me to shell out gold for a transmog, it’s okay with me. ![]()
Not I. Nothing about the class or the race appeal to me.
