Nope, not a joke at all. Russia has many botnets for sending spam traffic. It’s one of their go-to tactics, and I’m sure they view Activision as participating in economic warfare against Russia.

It says trying to re-connect me to battlenet but according to this I was connected yet at all WTF…omg another ddos maybe.
Kinda, it’s more like it’s not illegal in Russia so it’s “sent from Russia”, but the source might not necessarily be Russia. It could be a pissed off American for all we know.

My battle.net let me in but it says “connecting” under my social list and none of my games will even open up now. They must be underfeeding the hamsters.

So this is definitely bad
My Battle.net app apparently required an update, so at first I thought that might have been the issue. Then when I was trying to log back in, I got a queue. And now it the app won’t connect to my account or something. The news feeds are working though, so that’s kinda weird.
