I did see just today (in Timewalking raid) some toons deliberately pulling mobs after we had already as a group run past them. They also pulled all the mobs in an area, all the mini-bosses and lieutenants in the area. The result was that we were constantly being attacked from behind as well as whatever was in front of us, and the pulls were too big. We kept wiping, as it was way more than the group could handle. As a healer I sometimes see stuff happen and how it goes down, and that was happening with that raid. I have run that raid countless times and never once have I seen what happened today. It was deliberate.
Theyre boutta ask you questions till they come up with the dozen or so different reasons it may not have been intentional despite you and the group having witnessed it with your own eyes and coming to the same conclusion.
100%. It’s a fact that trolls exist, but people here will argue til their face is blue that you’re imagining things. Most people play wow, some people play forum games.
Because timewalking is a joke and nothing at all like the +14 keys that this thread was talking about.
I realize that TW does not compare to keys. I know deliberate trolling & sabotage when I see it, though, and that IS what this thread is talking about.
Trolling happens on the internet, yes we have all been here before. What you’re suggesting, however, is that a behavior experienced in a game mode with no difficulty and no rewards reflects a supposed trend the OP is trying to prop up in challenging content that the perpetrators are time-invested into. Someone’s much more likely to throw their trash In N Out burger at your passing car for the lulz than waste a FiveGuys burger in the same way.

I’ve been running the Maniacal Machinist raid in LFR on multiple alts and in the last three weeks, on almost every alt, someone griefs the raid by pulling in some or even most of the mobs between the 1st and 2nd boss.
I’m not talking about tanks who just run through mobs without hitting them and therefore fail to really hold aggro. Literally seen people divert off the path to pull mobs. Many times.
Often, the tank is so far ahead that they don’t notice and run all the way inside Sprocketmonger’s room, and the mobs start hitting whoever is still running.
Or the lead group is busy fighting mobs inside the boss’ room and can’t really come out to help.
Kicking the griefer doesn’t always work because people don’t always see it.
Not sure what the solution is that would balance allowing multiple paths to the boss with not making it easy for a griefer to pull half the map.
