It’s something that I wasn’t around for, and something that looks really exciting to go through as it’s essentially all new content for me. For everyone else that’s going through all of this for the first time, what are you most looking forwards to?
For me, I’m looking forwards to seeing how it’s like playing with the older talent trees, and going through content like Zul’Gurub that was vastly different to how it is now.

I dabbled a little in provate servers but only to like level 20. So new here too.
If you’re a decent, good person, and you get into a guild with good leadership and raiding plans, you’ll be amazed at sense of community, possibly making friends for life. That was my experience.

I plan on playing with a lot of my friends from retail so hopefully that goes all right. I’ve seen people say community is the best thing about classic, esp. how servers are more close knit because of things like no LFD and such.
Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
I’ma play wiff friends though so I don’t die as much~
I played in vanilla but never made it to 60(only got to 45 or so before BC came out) so it’ll be kinda new for me
pserver experience only, i’m sure there are many out there coming to classic
I started playing during WOTLK, so while some elements from Vanilla were still around, Classic will still be a new experience for me.
Welcome all of you. I think you’re going to have a blast. All of the progress you make will be meaningful. Regardless of the class you chose, you will have abilities that make you impactful in quests, dungeons, and raids. Most of all, the The relationships you build and adventures you share will be memorable and epic. The real story in classic is the one you make with you and your friends.

I’ve played Vanilla, but for me I’m excited to push for level cap. I was 12 when I played originally or somewhere around there lol can’t remember back then. I made a Warrior Gnome Names Bobdabuilder because Bobthebuilder was 1 character too long. I got to around 47, and just crapped out. Eventually though as time went on I capped out during the following expansions with my warrior, changing servers/race/names. Lol now he’s a Human Warrior named Ten.
Love this, and how true it is. The friends you make through the journey of Vanilla is like no other.
Welcome! If you roll Horde on my server (going to be on a PvP server), I’m sure we’ll meet and I’ll be happy to help out with anything.
I started in BC, so Yes and No?
The game is harder, more casual friendly, i want to experiment the rpg side that miss in retail.
I play on private server and im loving it. A small thing that i like is that in the lower levels, theres more armors and weapons. Theres rare armors and weapons at all level si think or almost all level. The grinding is fun; you have to read more the quests to know what to do and the lore is interesting, it reminds me of Warcraft 3.
The combat pace is slower and auto attack really matters. Also, your ressource pool (mana, rage, etc) is limited so you have to choose your spell wisely. It also have dodge and parry that is interesting.
In retail everyone is an epic hero and in classic everyone is an normal adventurer. Theres really people that get famous due to the fact that theres actually rare items.

Good luck, everyone. I want Classic to be huge success, so I hope all of you end up getting hooked just like we did the first time around. It’s a fantastic game.
