Thats ironic because I feel the type of player/person that does this would get mortally wounded by a chest bump.

Actually, they do fight… or, rather, I should say that they did fight. Back when DF WPVP was still fresh, and there actually were WPVP rewards to farm, a lot of “Epic battles” (raid vs. raid) happened out in the open fields between these groups. I’m guessing you missed it.
