What’s corruption?
I’m at… 58. It has a few annoying things, and it has gotten me killed before, like getting a 68% slow, two visions, and also being the center target of the doggo breath in the execute phase, being a matter of, “Guess I’ll just die” because the damage and slow making it so even burning rush couldn’t get me out of the way was just a terrible combination of bad RNG.
Though makes me sad having a good single-target corruption in R3 stars, then being like, “Well, guess I have to take it off for Maut because that is a 100% chance to kill yourself on the last reflect damage phase, if not sooner.”
Change/cleanse your weapon then?
IS 3 is way too good to pass up.
I can play with 58. Unless RNG goes crazy and just kills me. Maut is a matter of Infinite Stars 3 = You die because unavoidable 360k+ star procs doing +80% of your HP in damage instantly on reflect during an already high damage-taken phase.
The cloak once you get it to rank 15 every week you kill nzoth increases it’s corruption resistance. The cloak fully upgraded will be 125 corruption resisitance

It’s worth 1113 dps for you.
Rank 2 is 1606 and Rank 3 is 2215.
It was never the worst and also they buffed it.
Void Ritual 1 is 1130 dps solo and 1394 with allies who have it.
Rank 2 is 2853 / 3282.
Rank 3 is 5646 / 6480.

Only corruption I have is echoing void… great. Oh and 4 or 5 avoidance pieces I deleted. Yep, not even cleansed even though 1 was a 470, I just deleted it.

I tried that one day, solo, out in the wild, with a hunter and I was far from OK, that was around 90 corruption, max I can go is 103. The circle itself is big enough that you cannot get out with ANY movement speed effects, it’s just too big a circle.
Take this now into M+ and your dad, your sister, your uncle and everyone in a 10 mile radius is going to get aggro’d with that kind of circle. Or, you can just stand there, take the massive hits and force your healer to work overtime than blame them for not healing you and the group wiping
There is no way you are fine.
I was running at 68 corruption baseline at the start. Learned quickly how to root the Thing From Beyond and break the slow by shapeshifting. Last week, I managed a solo full-clear of Stormwind at 74 corruption. It wasn’t unbearable, but druid has a lot to avoid corruption mechanics.
I’m now sitting very comfortably at 32. Never been this low. It feels like freedom.

I run up to 59. Never more. In certain dungeons I stay below 40 tho. Like TD I don’t run grand delusions.

As I see it, I wouldn’t cleanse. I would just find ways to deal with it. For mythic Wrathion and Mythic Skitra, I was running 58 corruption (iirc), and Mythic Maut, I dropped to something like 28. It’s situational. My feral spec for M+, it’s 48 I think, and I’m perfectly happy to accept the potential damage or time I spend dodging/rooting my clone for a T3 TD. It’s toxic, yes, but it helps speed through the M+ faster. Generally, if you have good defensives/self healing/CC, stick with Tina (what my friends call the clone). If you don’t, I wouldn’t let Tina touch me at all.
