I didn’t pay for 6 months of service; I’m not a moron.
However, if that service does not meet reasonable standards of expectation and a request for refund, even partial, is denied, it is not a false pretense to chargeback.
Real world example: If you sign up for 6 months at a gym, and after 2 months you start going and find out that half the equipment advertised is broken and the other equipment smells, you are within your rights to request a refund, and issue a chargeback request if denied outright. The gym is entitled to argue that they didn’t promise to provide working or clean equipment, but that doesn’t make it fraudulent to claim it as a reasonable request for a refund.
