Any tips for soloing Naz/Gnom questing areas as a Rogue?

I leveled up my Rogue, he is currently Outlaw specced with 380 ilvl gear. All of my other alts have been doing just fine questing in the new areas, but my Rogue gets stomped by enemies constantly. Does anyone have any advice? Or is Rogue just terrible in solo PvE?

Thank you.

gear up a bit.

Stealth is your friend.

For me, solo outlaw felt like a terrible slog in Naz/Gnom. Switched to sub for a bit, which felt a little faster and waay more survivable - and then switched to assassin, which turns out has way faster time to kill than the other 2 so I stuck with that.

One recommendation for a ‘new’ 120 who’s an alt, if you have a main, farm the daily quests that grant you benthic stuff and mail them to your alt. Maybe even spend a couple pearls to fill in the blanks so you’re running around with a 385 ilevel off the bat.

I mean…I can’t completely stealth kill enemies. I have to actually fight enemies, even 1v1 at some point, if I want to compete quests. Lol

Yeah but rogues don’t have pets to tank them. TBH my lock’s a cakewalk even at ilevel 370, but I do agree it’s a pain in the butt having to kill ALL the enemies on the way to your destination.

380 should be plenty strong enough for anyone to do Naz and Mech zones.

I can’t speak to outlaw rogues though, my rogue is sub.

I took your advice and I switched to Assassination. It was an night and day difference. Thank you, friend. =)

Hmm, I have no idea… My outlaw is the character I chose to rep grind the hellhole that is Nazjatar because I found it to be so much easier than most… Just make sure you are stunning /silencing as necessary, aim for the bigger buffs, get the mana pearl gear as soon as you have the pearls to do so.

Don’t be afraid to collect and use items that give you special buffs, or guardians.
Stealth everywhere, unless the distance is great.
Don’t be afraid to pop CD’s.
I’ve done all of BFA as assassination, so I don’t know how much that’ll mean to you.
Have fun, and truly discover what makes you enjoy playing as a rogue.

Good luck!

If your rogue is horde, use the healing follower. Later he gives damage reduction buff too. I don’t recall what level he gets those abilities though.

Is that the water caster guy?
