i don’t doubt it. not even a bit.
it’s just that, well, lots of us don’t live in or even particularly near cities.

It means if you follow one specific religion, then the US Constitution doesn’t apply to you.
Yeah and i dont think anyone is trying to urbanize rural America, but the suburbs could have one less stroad, big box super parking lot, or at least a walkable downtown.
Oh well, thanks for the civil exchange, Pyri. So rare on the forums these days.
I’m a theistic/spiritual satanist and I live in a very conservative city in Texas, this is laughably incorrect and you sound foolish by even making such a claim.
I don’t know about that part.
I do know about that part.
It’s hard to really generalize all of the people living in a landmass that could fit multiple European countries.
But people sure do try.
map for scale, since it’s always fun to see
Yeah, true. Definitely others less-so than me.
I recently moved to south Texas and very glad to be rid of the liberal west coast.
When you are walking the dog it is great to not have broken glass, needles and human refuse everywhere. I also enjoy not being around store looting, thats a inner city issue from where I used to live. It is not that noticeable but slightly more conservative political views (on average) which is a good thing.
This summer heat sucked but the winter is very pleasant. Need a car to go anywhere, traffic is less than what I am used to.
right? It is pretty nice not to deal with that nonsense.
That depends, do you have a uterus and like making your own medical decisions?
I have no idea what a uterus is.
If you like flat land and BBQ, you should be fine. Cheap housing, lots of it.
i lived in LA for nine years and never experienced any of those things. maybe i just didn’t live in the “woke” parts or something. weird!
You don’t live in Texas obviously
Then you’ll fit right in.
Not only that but it doesnt actually get cold until january/february in most parts other than the panhandle. East tx is nice cause its densely wooded. Stay away from anything west of dallas. North tx is flat. But jts not bad born and raised outside of tyler now stuck outside of abilene and i hate it lol.
People in Texas can’t drive.
I have a lot of bad things to say about it. I live here.
Housing market is way too expensive- as are the rent prices. Our politics are horrible down here. We have a woman who just had to leave the state to be able to terminate her pregnancy as opposed to being able to bare more kids because our AG is a blockhead (we have counties trying to block pregnant women to go to another State to access this). This is AFTER the courts gave her permission to get one.
Our power grid isn’t on the federal and it went down for 3 days when a small snow storm hit us a couple of years ago. People froze to death here. Our highways are ALWAYS under construction.
Also our summers are pure H-E-double hockey sticks.
Where? Show me where this supposed cheap housing is because that’s non-existent where I am. Tech jobs are normally going to be in one of the cities. Not the country areas.
I originally moved down here way back in 1990. They were doing housing developments in the farm areas back then.
I left for about 13 years.
I got lost trying to figure out how to go back to my old home. Too many houses built in this area. No farms that I know of around here either.
Oftentimes to add toll roads lol. Many of which are owned by foreign companies.
