Looking for an age 40+ guild, retail, classic, any faction. Looking for other like minded players, recently resubbed and would like to find a casual guild. While we’re not exclusively 40+, many of our more active members (and leadership) are 40+, or 30somethings. We are a PVE focused horde guild on Area 52, currently 7/10H with some of our raiders having KSM and still actively doing keys. We’re pretty low-key as we are all pretty busy in real life. I can’t say we are 40+, but we are an adult guild, and the majority of our members are 40+. I am 44, and the GM is 61.
WARCRAFT is a highly active Alliance raiding guild on the merged realms of Khadgar/Alleria/Exodar/Medivh, and we are recruiting!
Guild established in March of 2015 and has achieved every AOTC since Highmaul.

The raid schedule:
Tuesday 8:30p-11:30p EST
Thursday 8:30p-11:30p EST
You are expected to be on time with flasks, pots, enchants, gems, and smiles. *We try to provide flasks, pots, gems, and enchants though guild members. If you need something, just ask!
We expect that raiders put gear up for roll if they do not need the item. We are a TEAMWORK-oriented guild.
The atmosphere:
We are primarily a raiding guild offering a highly active, social, teamwork oriented, adult environment. We believe in player development, including gearing and training players without elitism or cliques. We do not have any ilvl requirements to join our guild. Gear can be easily obtained, but good people are priceless. 
“Special snowflake” accommodations not available. Must understand the difference between helping and having control issues. If ex-military leadership causes “triggers” or meltdowns, this is probably not the guild for you.

I don’t know of any purely 40+ guilds… but the one I’m in has MANY players over 40 (including myself cough cough). We’re casual, friendly, and very active socially!

MYTHICC is the superior choice for your next raid environment. We enjoy raiding frequently, either current progression or going back to the older stuff just to have fun. When we’re not raiding, we hang out in the Discord or pal around in dungeons. Here’s some more information about our guild and what we have to offer potential raiders:
Raid Teams
Currently, we have 2 raid teams, De Other Raid and Swipe Left. During trial periods, we ask that trials make themselves available to their specific raid team. Raiding schedules are posted on the website.
Trial Periods
Trial length is determined by reclear content versus extended progression. Typically, a trial period can last 1-2 weeks, totaling 2-4 raids nights. However, during extended progression, trial periods are much shorter. You will be contacted by the raid leader or a team officer whether you passed trial. RCLootCouncil may or may not be used.
Raider Requirements and Add-ons
We require every raider, even on optional nights, to have the knowledge required to both perform in their class and execute mechanics properly. We understand people make mistakes, but we do not tolerate repeated failure. We expect our mythic raiders to have extensive knowledge of the current tier and have suitable character alternatives if their class is performing sub-optimally.

Most of our guild is 30s+, we have a few that are a bit younger but most of us have seen things lol. Myself and the GM are in our 30s, I’m 36 (gasp!). We’re a casual guild that wants to get stuff done but having fun with friends is our top priority. We still have people leveling so now is a great time to make a new character and check us out 
Hi Lochlie, this is a fairly old thread in WOW time, but it appears that you haven’t found what you are looking for with a guild. We are Tom Sellecks Mustache an Adult guild on Thrall (EST).
We are a small close knit community of adults that get together to enjoy each others company, which is key now days. Most of our members are 30+ with quite a few of us over 50, so I think we can hit the mark you are looking for with the 40+. We have several couples in the guild and our biggest asset is that we realize this is a game and that Life has to come first.
The guild has been around since 2015 and I have been the GM for the last 3-4 years. We have seen lots of sparse times but we are a community of friends, and most members have been here for years, and even those that depart, stop back in once and while in Discord just to chat. The expansion has been rough, we started with around 30 active members/raiders , and are now down to around 15. People have left or mostly just decided to take a break for various reasons. All our friends that have left are still around, and most are still in the guild, but just waiting for Blizzard to bring give them a reason to play again.
I will post more guild information below, but if you are curious feel free to reach out. I encourage anyone that is interested in the guild to come sit in discord to listen and watch (someone always goes live, usually Cranberry our shaman healer) and see how we do things at TSM. There is a reason we have been around as long as we have, and why we are still here, our people.

I came over from Alliance and another server, but the cost was so worth it! This is the most fun I have ever had in a guild. All I had to do was listen to them raid in Discord, and I knew I had found my home. Such a great community, there is always someone online, the people are friendly and helpful, and no one yells when you make a mistake.
I come from many years of progressive raiding but really got burned out and wanted a guild that was much more of a relaxed environment. I found that with TSM, I really enjoy raiding again. No one gets mad or rages, we just laugh and have fun while we raid.

[A] Descendants of Lore is a semi-casual Alliance raiding guild on Khadgar/Alleria/Exodar/Medivh that has been around and consistently raiding since Vanilla (15 + Years). We are a small to medium sized, close-knit guild of friendly, mature players, with the majority being over the age of 30 with, jobs, families, and adult responsibilities. We are careful with recruiting so no one gets lost in the crowd and everyone has a raid spot.

We make a push for Heroic each expansion and sometimes dip a toe into a Mythic boss or two when we have the roster.
