Am I having fun? Yes, I wouldn’t play a game if I didn’t find it fun.

That said, on my main, I am going through the motions while waiting for 8.2, but only when there is something worthwhile to bother getting him out of bed.

My 110 alts are sitting on their hands waiting for 8.2. Though some are 111 because I take them to the DMF each month.

Where I am having fun though, is leveling all my sub-110 alts up to 110. I do find it disappointing though that old content, of all varieties, is more fun than current content.

I am having fun in both old content and BFA content why else would I still pay to play the game when the fun is gone so am I. :wolf::zap:

Actually, lapsed subs aren’t even supposed to be able to be on the forum, but there seems to be a bug in the system. That said, you aren’t checking on the state of the game now, are you?

Honestly it’s feeling like the tedious repetitive stuff that caused me to unsubscribe during WoD.

Hope that I’ll still like Classic is what’s keeping me going.

I could be having more fun. It’s ok, I’ve always enjoyed raid progression so I get some fun for that, and I’ve been building another character up. I’ve hit the netflix and farm phase now with my alchemist where if I have nothing else going on I find some passable netflix series to watch while farming. Looking for ways to turn my gold deficit into a surplus again to bring me some extra “enjoyment”.

So…you feel like the game is tedious and repetitive now…but somehow you think classic isn’t even more tedious and repetitive?

Well at least with classic the more work you put into it the better you feel about what you accomplished in game. As it is now the game just gives you so much for so little work that it’s just not fun. I think people are hoping that with classic it won’t be that way. If you want the better gear/rewards you have to grind it out and it gives a sense of accomplishment.

I’m not even doing those things anymore. I’m barely logging in. I haven’t even logged in to play in like 2-3 days. I’m more interested in going back to do old quests and raids for mounts/pets/transmog (in that order, mounts first). You know what they say, “Distance makes the heart grow fonder”.

TBH, if I had to pay for the game I totally wouldn’t be playing right now.

Mostly kill time on the auction house, hoarding money for the next expac.

I enjoy WoW a great deal still, but right now it is not my top game in any sense, so my time is spent elsewhere for the most part.

This is largely due to my guild being absolutely dead. At most I see 2 people on during usual hours, and it is me and my fiance. I don’t play enough to search for an active guild, and I don’t play enough because my guild isn’t active.

Even without raiding, I am at a 385 item level if I equip my best, so I’m not gear-pressured into the social aspect. I still really enjoy WoW as a game, I just wish I had more personal incentive to play.

Leveling alts has been neat because of enchants and whatnot.

i wouldn’t call what i do in game as absolutely fun, i see it as more of an occupation of my time. in the beginning, i felt it was fun because i would want to login and join up with RL friend to do stuff.

nowadays, i log in just to work on things, until i get drowsy enough to shut down the computer and tuck into bed
