Another Shadow Nerf?

I doubt they changed anything.

It’s possible to get incredibly lucky for a while and then the opposite right after.

I got 6 blue sapphires in a single day and haven’t gotten any for weeks.

But their drop chance is incredibly low on wowhead, so it makes sense.

Also, all I did in 2019 classic was farm lashers on a mage. I can tell you the drops are not consitent at all.

They varied a TON from week to week. I could get no blues or purples for weeks.

The only consistent gold from DME is herbs. Dreamfoil made me like 90% of all my gold.

If they nerfed the spawn rates of dreamfoil per pick then the price will just go up due to lower supply so you won’t lose money.

Almost all dreamfoil on the AH comes from DME.

well then boosting should be banned too, nerf every way players earn gold and dont ban any bots so our shadow mafia can make more money

of course boosting should be banned :expressionless: i thought we solved this years ago with the boosting nerfs of SoM. no idea why blizzard decided to bring all this crap back in subsequent versions

I got 2 blue sapphires and 2 arcane crystals in the same DME yesterday.
The RTVs seem to be untouched.

Wow classic player discovers RNG after 20 years playing.

aww borderline exploiting got nerfed…your raid bosses might take 60 seconds to kill instead of 53seconds

Farming lashers isn’t exploiting anything. There is no pathing exploiting or anything that could be construed as cheating. It’s just killing mobs.

People solo farm instances because the overworld is ran by bots. People do what they can. Believe me if the open world had dreamfoil I’d be doing that.

Even timbermaw hold rep farming is bot ran, not much you can do.

Anti boosting stuff is in the game, 5 dungeons an hour is still better than getting nothing in the overworld.

Smells like Teenspirit

Exactly this

yeah but doing dungeons solo just ain’t right :expressionless: it’s against the spirit of classic

the overworld could use being 10 times bigger, when blizzard launched they had 92 servers estimating a 400k playerbase being an incredibly high success. roughly 4k players per server. Now we have 20-30k server sizes for areas that in spirit were supposed to be almost like choose your own adventure type feel games and if you were on a pvp server and you got jumped by another player it was an event of the night and you wrote down their name and went back an forth and maybe even called in a friend or two on both sides for a showdown

Now even with a cpl layers per server we have every relevant zone feeling overrun and thats not even always because of the bots. Yes its an MMO but every intro to the starter characters was about how our race is on the brink of survival in a world overrun by monsters and is about to fight back.

But it seems like the opposite, the world is overrun by players and someone needs to help the monsters fight back

It’s not doing a dungeon. It’s farming to buy consumes to do dungeons and raids with other people. Have you ever done a quest alone? If so, you must not want to interact with other players.

You gonna be even more mad when you realize these PVP servers have like 25-40k players on each one.

LOL

25k raiders (those who raided last week) and only 4 layers at some times.

It’s insane.

it’s unfathomable that there’s 6 figures of players on a single server :expressionless:

It’s six figures total for sure but only like 1/4 to 1/2 raid.

Persecution complex?

They nerfed a few things for sure, tho they snuck some really nice crit modifiers into my warrior special attacks so ill take it, I crit like mad with only 14%, feels Good!

On a serious note they have indeed nerfed some farms and thats likely to nerf bots

I will add there is no dungeon in classic era / anniversary that has any need for consumables assuming you’re at the correct character level and at least have leveling greens.

In reality you dont even need consumables for most of the raids in Era excluding naxx on a few fights, mostly they just make it all easier.

If blizzard had of instead given us pre-nerf dungeons, raids, classes and gear previous to naxx, things would be more like present day naxx.

Hardest dungeon I ever did was pre-1.3 Scolomance in 1.2 this was before diremaul ever was a thing, with the gear and classes of the time and all the extra mobs that ill also point out had actual mechanics and abilities and hit plate like it had the armor class of a level 1 rabbit, that was nightmare fuel.
