The only thing I can really support being covenant locked is the gear. It makes sense to me (wouldn’t be opposed to the restriction being lifted though).
This is just stupid; why take something away?
I love this expansion but they have to realize there is a large population that cares about achievements, toys, mounts, and transmog as their primary form of content. Shutting those players’ avenues of fun isn’t going to make them do M+, Raids, or PvP; it is going to make them quit.

you’re right, in a game like WoW everything should make sense because it’s a game of real life.

It would be harmful to the LORE if the Kyrian pledge followers were using Venthyr magic, but not even followers but their most trusted soldiers using other schools of magic.
